Looks terrible. The realistic open world scattered with these very specific Sonic items like rails, springs, homing attack orbs, etc resembles a poor fan made game.
Yep, love it. Backed this project from the very beginning. Andrew did a stellar job from start to finish. Grabbing this for only $180 was a no-brainer.
Yep, looks fantastic. My Kickstarter backed one can't come soon enough. The elegant design versus the cheap, G Story knockoff, makes the Series S a beautifully self-contained beast.
@FraserG not in the US at least. In order to purchase DLC for GTA IV, you need to buy them in-game. Otherwise, you'll be greeted with an "unavailable" in the web browser.
@isturbo1984 yeah, I honestly think it's great. Seriously, it turns the Series S into a little beastly "gaming laptop" - new gen & retro gaming galore.
@isturbo1984 it doesn't require additional power, it's drawing that from the console itself - hence only needing the original power cord (unlike those G Story branded attachable screens, too many cords๐คฎ)
@Zochmenos yes, they've disclosed that information to backers. I'm one of them. Nothing out of the ordinary compared to your traditional gaming monitors. He's showcased Doom and the likes, and the input latency looks great.
The last Xbox I got was the 360, once it red ring'd I did the "xclamp fix" and it worked for a number of years until about the release of the original State Of Decay. Completely skipped the One generation and picked up the Series S a few months ago because it was available. Haven't touched my PS4 since.
Microsoft really knocked it out with the Series S. The backwards compatibility has been great, I get to play the new-gen games, and its one of the most aesthetically pleasing systems ever. Oh and Game Pass? The cherry on top. Kudos Microsoft ๐
Looks like a lot of you played the inferior Matrix game. Path of Neo was a great game, fun combat, nice Easter eggs for the HK cinema fans, and you played as freaking Neo ๐
Some many fond horror experiences that I can't pin it down! From Silent Hill 2, the Fatal Frame series, Little Nightmares and Inside, REVII ... good times ๐ฑ
Chaos Theory without a doubt. But the multiplayer Spies Vs Mercs in Double Agent was brilliant! I had an absolute blast playing that back in the day. Playing both sides provided distinct gameplay mechanics, and should be brought back today. I remember being caught by someone playing a mercenary, and while he had me in a hold, he spoke into his mic and teased me about being caught - then he choked me out and it was game over. Haha, good times ๐
@everynowandben fits nicely into a backpack as demonstrated, not nearly as gigantic and unwieldy as its competition. Sure, you can save up for a decent gaming laptop at $1300, but for under $600 there's no denying the value. A clean aesthetic, not hampered by a crap ton of wires like the G Story, and the power of the Series S - folks love it, crushing that Kickstarter campaign.
@Zochmenos I would say there's no more input delay than your traditional monitor or flat panel tv. He's demoed Doom and it looked fantastic being a fast paced, twitchy shooter.
I'm an early backer and have no doubt this man will deliver. He's been constantly providing updates throughout the whole process. 1080p at this screen size is not a problem, too. It's a pixel density comparable to a 4k retina display. The design is perfectly executed, requiring no additional cables for the screen. One power plug for the whole setup is great. Definitely reminds me of my days in the military, early 2000's, where our attachable screens to our PS2's, GameCubes, and XBOX's were essential for our deployment packs!
As a PlayStation fan, I completely skipped the One Series last gen despite loving the 360. Came back onboard when I spotted the Series S at Best Buy. At only $299, I thought "why not?" ... and I've been loving it! The form factor is beautiful, Ultimate Game Pass is a stellar deal, and XScreen will turn this console into a gaming laptop that tops my actual gaming laptop, haha. Kudos to Microsoft for a job well done ๐
As a lot of you are saying, they need to improve the game recording feature. Coming from the PS4, the Xbox Series is lacking in this area; and how about a video editing software as well.
@LtSarge As someone who played and absolutely loved the original, the third game did not feel the same at all. I highly recommend playing part one if you can, definitely has aged better.

A clean, simplistic start screen that conveys the vastness of space exploration Bethesda is going for, is lazy? Haha ok.

@Martsmall my original comment was concerning RDR2.
Re: Grand Theft Auto V: Story Mode Listed For Xbox Series X|S, With Discount
@Martsmall pulled from the article, which was pulled from the store:

My comment was referring to RDR2 btw.
Re: Grand Theft Auto V: Story Mode Listed For Xbox Series X|S, With Discount
@Beagle need the online mode to play story? I purchased the Story mode only, and played it fine without purchasing the online component.
