I started over in Hogwarts Legacy after not even finishing it at launch. I'm probably going to keep going with it for now.

So far there seems to be a lot more transparency and communication than before. Only time will tell though and we don't really know if any of this was already in motion.

I played, enjoyed, and finished South of Midnight at launch on GamePass. Never understood the hate this game, or a lot of others, get.

I'm pretty much done with Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. I have nearly 100% everything, but it's time to move on to something else. I'm thinking maybe KOTOR since I haven't played it yet (yes, I do already know the major plot twist).

My subscription ran out the day after Christmas. I can't say that I've missed it. Not having Gamepass has helped me focus on the backlog I already have.

I'm close to finishing Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, so I'll be continuing forward with that.

Xbox is who I've put my money down with since 2008. I don't know if I'll get the next xbox until I hear more, but at least I have my Series X which has tons of life in it.

Not intending to be negative, but I wonder how many of these numbers accessed multiple games on this list? This is good news, so I hope the numbers aren't inflated in any way.

Ugh, replaced by someone in AI. I am officially less enthused by Xbox's future.

These games have never interested me. I tried GTA5 on GamePass once and hated it.

I really enjoyed Avowed at launch. I dont have GamePass anymore, but I'd be willing to pick it up to own at a greater discount than current. It's a great deal now, but I completed nearly everything I could in my first playthrough.

@jesse_dylan I maxed out the demo at lvl 15 for all party members, which has helped me breeze through and just enjoy the story elements primarily. I think everyone is between lvl 23 and 30 right now. I basically one-shot most everything on the map. I prefer this type of play because I don't get a lot of time to play throughout the week. Maybe an hour or two a night at most.

I am thoroughly enjoying Dragon Quest VII Reimagined.

@FraserG Good point. I guess, in my brain, the full backwards compatability was going to be what sets the Magnus apart from the OEMs.

@Coletrain Agreed. I highly doubt the OEMs will be backwards compatible for xbox games like the Magnus will be.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined for me and playing Lego Marvel Super Heroes with my son.

Is anyone able to access the DLC at all? I am seeing stories online that it is just on xbox.

I'm really excited to start playing tomorrow (I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition). I maxed out at lvl 15 in the demo, so I'll have a great head start!

@Lup I used wand and sword and sword shield primarily. I'd be interested to try another style.

@Lup A solid 8 or 9 from me as well. I had a great time playing it. I did just about everything you could in a single playthrough. I only left 12 achievements on the board, but may get it for myself on a deep sale as I played it at launch when I had Game Pass.

I'm in a bit of a downtime where I'm in-between games and not playing anything this weekend. That all changes this coming week when I get Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. I pre-ordered the deluxe edition and didn't even know it came with early access until recently, so Feb 3rd can't get here soon enough!

I'll be knee deep in Dragon Quest VII, but if something is on my wishlist for a good price, I'll bite.

I recently 100% Sea of Stars on my second playthrough (finished at launch) after recently finishing The Messenger (for the first time). I'm now towards the end of the Sea of Stars DLC which is great timing since Dragon Quest VII is about to come out soon.

Currently about halfway on my 1TB Series X. I like to keep it about that amount and only have things I am currently playing or enjoy downloaded.

@FredBiletnikoff Same. Mine lapsed the day after Christmas. I cannot justify $30/month. At least I have plenty to play and catch up on in my digital library.

I tried the demo and it was just not for me. I really wish they would've remade the original with these graphics. Oh well. Maybe someday Square will realize FFVII should've remained turn-based.

I've been on Xbox as my main system since I got the 360 in 2008. I bought it solely to play Lost Odyssey and haven't looked back since.

Interesting. I am going to be solely focused on Dragon Quest VII Reimagined next month, but i will keep this one on my radar.

I really enjoyed Avowed. I played it through GamePass at launch, but it would be a nice title to have. The new content seems pretty nice too.

Wrapping up New Game+ for Sea of Stars and probably chipping away at the Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Demo. I finished it, but I'm working towards maxing out the characters before going into the full release since everything carries over. Wonderful game! I briefly played the original on PS1 at release, but I don't remember anything about it.

Hopefully Fable is now a lock and doesn't get canceled.

@Sindayl That's what I felt after playing the demo. I already own the original, which is still a great game today. These games probably just aren't going to be for me.

I tried the demo and it just didn't stick. I wish they would've just remastered the original with turn-based battles and used the current graphics of this game. Oh, well.

I have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition so I get to play it a couple of days early. Now I get to play even sooner through this demo, which carries over! Excellent news!

@Elbow the Series X was such a fantastic upgrade for me in 2021. I love this system and what it can do. And yes, I love me some good old school Final Fantasy too!

Now that my GamePass subscription expired I just want to play more of what I want/own. It actually feels pretty good. Sure, I'll miss GamePass, but I don't feel so inclined to play what is on there ahead of other games.

Working through New Game + on Sea of Stars after recently finishing The Messenger. I should be able to finish before Dragon Quest VII Reimagined drops.
