Just played the first mission over lunch (love working from home) and it's off to a great start!

@Lup the original Modern Warfare trilogy is top notch! I haven't played the newer ones.

@CallMeDuraSouka I'm holding off until the others are released in GamePass. I'll do the same for Cold War, but BO6 sounds too good to wait on.

I haven't played a campaign of COD since the original Black Ops, but I think I'll give this one a go, especially with it being on GamePass. Not too interested in MP, but I may give Zombies a crack as well.

@DoctorJohnDisco Agreed. I had fully expected the previous Black Ops games to release on Game Pass before BO6. I'm half in, because I only finished BO1 when it released and have no idea what the plot is now, but I want to give this campaign a go. I may just check it out really quick and wait for the others to play them in order.

Yakuza 0 and FF IV for me this weekend.

I remember when this came out. I do not remember it being any good, though. Is this a cult classic status or something?

I have all the games through Games With Gold. I really need to get around to them. I almost finished Origins at launch, but must've gotten distracted back in the day. Maybe after then I'll give this one a go. It'll probably be on EA'S subscription service in a year too.

@Bigmanfan Not as great as they used to be. It is still easy to get Game Pass Ultimate for free each month, though.

@Bigmanfan It helps when you're looking for a quick Game Pass achievement for rewards purposes.

@Fiendish-Beaver I want to try it, but Persona 5 was not for me. I did not like the content or the social aspect of it. I dont mind long games, but I dont like unnecessary bloat.

I'm looking forward to trying Sifu. I'll probably try the BO6 campaign as well, but I really wish they added the others first. I played BO1 back in the day, but not the others.

@DJKingaling i played Gaiden before IW dropped to see that perspective. I'm on the last chapter of Yakuza Kiwami and I'm thinking of starting Yakuza 0 next.

@DJKingaling the newer, turn-based games are amazing. I've gone back to play Yakuza Kiwami and it's pretty good. I prefer the turn-based, but the story is great either way.

I dunno. I love Final Fantasy, but the new VII remakes and XVI just don't interest me. Glad I have the Pixel Remasters now, though.

@Medic_alert Switch is so bad over wifi.

Not sure what I get, but when downloading games I've seen as low as under 100mb and as high 500+mb. It can fluctuate wildly, but I do download things pretty quickly with a wired connection.

Yakuza Kiwami and the Pixel Remasters. Starting at the beginning again with FF I (Warrior, Thief, W. Mage, B. Mage).

@PsBoxSwitchOwner It's definitely an "unto each their own" type of thing. I wake up pretty early anyways and usually have it done before I even start work. It's the days where the 15min delay is in that drags it out. I get the play a game at night and I use TrueAchievements to find a quick game that I can get at least one Game Pass game achievement per day. I usually knock that one out via cloud streaming on my lunch break.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner realistically? Maybe an hour.

@StylesT It can still be worth it for the rewards. It still pays for a month of Game Pass Ultimate and then some. I can generally knock all the searches out and get most of the available points by lunch or sooner just by chipping away at it.

I'll sometimes go several weeks with just the 5sec wait, but then there will be a day, sometimes two, where I have the 15 min delay again. Today is one of those days. (USA)

Tomorrow is the TGS after all, lol. On Ch.9 of Yakuza Kiwami. I think I'll play Yakuza 0 before Kiwami 2.

I want to give this one a try, but I did not like Persona 5 at all, so I'm skeptical. At least I can give it a shot via Game Pass.

Infinite Wealth by far. It's criminal how that game is not in GOTY conversations right now.

FF Pixel Remaster and a surprise FF Tactics: War of the Lions port and I'd be beyond happy.

I really want a dedicated handheld xbox that runs native. I may skip the initial next gen upgrade for that and hold onto my Series X a little longer. I'm not getting any younger so I've been thinking more and more what my exit strategy from gaming may be in the next 10-20 yrs. I'm solely on xbox these days so I just need whatever will play my current library of digital games and I'd be set for "retirement".

@Lup pretty good. I still prefer the turn-based. I'm about halfway through it. I've been doing a lot of the Majima Everywhere stuff and some sub stories. Playing on easy to keep it all moving nicely.

Yakuza Kiwami for me. Finally trying to get around to the non-Ichiban games.

This is exciting. I've played through Yakuza: Like A Dragon twice, Like a Dragon Gaiden, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth each once. I'm now finally playing Yakuza Kiwami for the first time. These guys know how to make a game!

Thoroughly enjoyed both games. Played Fallen Order way after release, but bought Survivor day one. Never had any major issues with bugs on Survivor at launch.

@RBRTMNZ Maybe the developers over-embellished their struggles to get hype before it released.

Rewards points can pay for a month of Ultimate at 12,000 points per month (USA), which can be set to auto-renew. Essentially free if you put the work in.

I just want to see Pixel Remasters and a release of FF Tactics: The War of the Lions and I'll be good! Perhaps a shadow drop at the Tokyo Game Show later this month for the Pixel Remasters!

@AlwaysPlaying Saw a US commercial for it today also.

I loved the new Like a Dragon games, so I tried Yakuza Kiwami last night. Might stick with it for a while. I've been meaning to play the whole series because I've only played Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Like a Dragon Gaiden, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. I definitely prefer the turn based and English dub of the newer ones. I only played Gaiden because it bridged the Ichiban Kasuga games.

@Lup True story! My love for Square is mostly nostalgic now.

I get insane Lost Odyssey vibes from this game too.

This is the game I'm most excited for over anything else for next year, hands down! I hope it's early and not late year.

I really just want the Pixel Remasters on my Xbox and anything going forward. I loved FFVII, but I just can't get excited about what they did to the remakes. I'll always prefer turn-based over action RPGs.

@Lup it was like 2 yrs ago. I've been waiting ever since. It's been delayed a couple times as well.

What about Suikoden 1 & 2, or since it was already announced, no need to add? I hope nothing has changed.

Not seeing stellar reviews across the board today. Sounds like this one will just get lost in the shuffle. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is still the best game I've played all year long.
