Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 5-6)

I've been playing two games that are really good and fun to play but technically maybe not the most polished...

Star Wars Zero Company - remains really fun and addictive to play, which is the most important part, but technically it needs some patches that after reading some news earlier regarding the studio might take a really long time to come if ever. Closing the game after every session seems to help, Ive only had one crash but fps drops and other minor glitches are pretty frequent. Still, having fun and gameplay, story, voice acting and such are very good imo.

Blood of the Dawnwalker - Decided to get this even if I'm unsure if I have time to finish a first playthrough before Wolverine. Im pretty early in the game, on day 2, and even if it looks a little dated (almost thought I played the ps5 version of the Witcher 3 at first) the story, cinematics, voice acting and worldbuilding and setting are good imo. Im playing on the hardest difficulty so combat is challenging but as my character grows stronger it gets easier. Its most of the time a me-problem when I die and not the games fault, but I might go down in difficulty and drop the polatinum ideas... 😅but you can get stuck on things, trees get in the way of the view and the camera and lock on doesnt always cooperate which doesnt help. I like the difference between day and night in the game, makes it really interesting and offers choices in taking on quests and exploration and certain things you can only do at either day or night. I also like how time progresses, makes for some choices to be made as you sometimes have to pick between side quests or other activities. So all in all I'm having a good time with the game and I can only imagine it gets better as the story goes on. I wouldn't mind some patches for a smoother combat and such.

I also recently started Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. It's the first time I've played any substantial amount of a Metroid Prime game, having maybe played half an hour to an hour of the original on Gamecube all those years ago. I just met Miles MacKenzie and got the first key, and I have to say that so far it really is quite good and I will be seeing it through to the end.

I also picked up the complete edition of Metal: Hellsinger on sale on Steam earlier in the week (or possibly earlier than that?) so I'll be putting on the headphones and giving that a whirl over the weekend.

I'm going to start the new plague tale game today hopefully it's good and I'll jump on some Forza horizon 5 aswell happy weekend folks 🙏

I'm bouncing back and forth with Chrono Trigger on Steam, the Final Fantasy Resonance demo on Series X and the Another Edin Begins demo on Switch1. Sweet, sweet, RPG nostalgia goodness!

My order of Zero Company is supposed to arrive today. While waiting, I am playing a bit of the great puzzle game Grindstone.

Had play off halo infinite, FH6 and ac black flag re.
Now waiting for new tv and sound bar, sub and rear speakers to be delivered. Then set up time.
