@Nintendo4Sonic I'm picky about my JRPGs. I did not like Persona 5 at all, but I love Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. Turn-based are my favorite kind. Claire Obscure: Expedition 33 is my #1 anticipated game this year.
@Nintendo4Sonic I love RPGs and gave Tales of Arise a shot. That was one of the most boring games I'd ever tried. I know it's a popular series, but I just couldn't continue.
Now that I've 100% Indiana Jones I'm finishing a second run through Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, finishing up FFVI, and maybe a little Ninja Gaiden II Black on the side.
@Alstil I play almost everything on or through Game Pass. I've purchased maybe 10 games over the last several years. I'm at a very comfortable place for my gaming habits. Even if the rest of the world hasn't caught on, Xbox is the place to game!
I've only played Ninja Gaiden II Black so far as I spent a good while on Indiana Jones this month. It's an alright month for me, but I'm chomping at the bit for Claire Obscure: Expedition 33. April 24th can't get here soon enough!
@TheGameThrifter I loved it too, but there are an insane amount of bugs. I only experienced a few, but others hit game breaking bugs. People may be holding out on that.
@gollumb82 Haha, I love how they showed his development for "love of snakes" in The Last Crusade in the flashback sequence. That also happens to be my favorite movie in the series. Haven't seen the newest one yet.
@gollumb82 Being an 80s kid, it really was a fun game! Bugs aside, I was even able to 100% it. That snake section though...never want to do that again, hahaha.
@XBOX045 I'm actually very similar to you, believe it or not. I've been with Xbox since 2008 and it's all I game on now. I have a switch, but I barely touch it. All my games are digital. I'll invest in the next generation at some point, but even if this is Xbox's swan song in regards to consoles, I will happily keep playing what I own now until the end of my days. I'm 42 now and know I won't be gaming forever anyway. For now, I'm very happy with my Series X and what Microsoft is doing.
Fun while it lasted if so. I have played all of them on Gamepass so far and to be honest, they are nearly identical. I play them for a month or two and then I move on to something else, but hey, that's sports games for you.
As I've said before, I really think Microsoft is on to something with their vision. I just think they are blazing a new trail the rest of the industry will follow. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm still excited for the next generation console and where Xbox goes from here.
I've been playing Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth on Legend to finsh up the final 3 achievements I need (all around finishing new game+). I beat the game last year when it released and its still a fantastic game!
I think Black is above Sigma. But I can't remember. The last non-NES time I played a Ninja Gaiden game was 2 at launch. Maybe someone else can confirm.
@Kaloudz I remember getting FFVII day one on the PS1 in High School. That game is special to me and I struggle with what it is now. Just my personal take. If it released at a discounted price or I can catch it on sale I could pull the trigger. I also have Rewards Points as well that could help me take the plunge.
@Kaloudz Definitely looking good for XBox right now! I'm still hesitant on the FFVII remakes because of the change to action based. I would've rather seen a remaster of VII over this current remake trilogy. I may still try them though, but I prefer turn-based any day of the week.
That was fantastic! I am so ready for April! South of Midnight AND Claire Obscure: Expedition 33!!! Doom and Ninja Gaiden don't interest me, but they did look amazing for their fanbases.
I really need to finish Crash 3. But I'm currently running through Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth on Legendary after I 100% Indian Jones recently. I'm trying to stick to only 1 or 2 games at a times this year, but I'm going to get to this one hopefully soon!
I put like 80 or 90 hrs into BO6. I really enjoyed it, but I've had my fill. I got into Prestige 2 or 3 and finished the campaign. I'll be good to jump back in again later this year with the new one.
I've been on GPU for about 5 or 6 years now. I'm very happy with it as it is my primary way of playing games. I don't buy a lot of games anymore (2 or 3 a year) so this way I never run out of stuff to play. Needless to say, I'm very content with this generation of gaming in my early 40s and I've been gaming since the mid 80s.
@Kaloudz I might pass out if it's FF Tactics: War of the Lions or Chrono Trigger, hahaha. We already know the FFVII's and FFXVI are coming, even though I'm leary due to the non turn-based design. Maybe we'll get a Dragon Quest XII reveal!
I am low-key hoping for a Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions port. I'd also be perfectly happy with a Dragon Quest 12 release. I've had Phantasy Star and Breath of Fire on my mind too. I clearly expect it to be an RPG, lol.
It would be cool to get a Shadow Drop again, so I'm voting yes. Either way, I expect a release date for my most excited about game for the year, Claire Obscure: Expedition 33. I hope it's soon!

Re: Ex-PlayStation Boss Compares Xbox's New Strategy To SEGA, Says It's A 'Balancing Act'
@RetroMan71 I'm 42, have a family, and a career. Maybe I'm part of the problem, hahahaha.
Re: Ex-PlayStation Boss Compares Xbox's New Strategy To SEGA, Says It's A 'Balancing Act'
@Isolte In the grand scheme of things, it's just video games and entertainment. If gaming were to all of a sudden end, life would still march on.

Re: Former PlayStation Exec Says 'The Game Is Changing' As Xbox Goes Multiplatform
@BacklogBrad Agreed. Where money is to be gotten, they will get it. Too much of the Game Pass user base is made up on consoles.
Re: Roundup: Citizen Sleeper 2 Is Getting Fantastic Reviews Ahead Of Its Xbox Game Pass Launch

@VoidPunk Game Pass, cloud, quick resume, a great controller, rewards, play anywhere, just to name a few, for me, that is.
Re: All New Xbox Games Coming Out In February 2025
Probably just Avowed. I may spend some rewards points for Like a Dragon, though.

Re: Reaction: Xbox's Killer January Showcase Proves That Its Games Pipeline Is Finally Ready

Re: Xbox's Big Surprise For Developer Direct Is Reportedly A Legendary Japanese IP
@Elbow I would take that!
Re: Xbox's Big Surprise For Developer Direct Is Reportedly A Legendary Japanese IP
I would assume whatever it is, since it'll be announced at the direct, it will go straight into Game Pass day one, or shadow dropped, as well.
