I played it for about 1.5 hrs when it launched into Game Pass. I just can't see how it's so popular, but hey, different strokes for different folks.

Playing Avowed. I think I've done almost everything in the first main area. Upgrading my gear and should be moving onto the next main area soon. Pretty fun game.

@onetheneo Thanks. I know I have my own quirks with gaming and have not liked a lot of well-liked games, but that's the beauty of gaming: there is something out there for everyone.

@Kaloudz Watched them with my 8yr old maybe a year ago. He loved them. They still hold a soft spot for me, but hey, I still love the Masters of the Universe movie too, so I may not be the best to ask about such things, hahaha.

My biggest bug was Gina repeating lines in Sukhotai and some notes showing even though I picked them up already. I solved that one with taking picture hints of one of the puzzles in the Vatican. I had to push through Gina not shutting up, however. But I got my 100% and all achievements early Jan.

Gave it a go yesterday. I'm trying it with a grimoire/wand combo right now. Not too shabby. I fought that big ol' bear and stopped for the night. Definitely has my attention.

I prefer the turn-based and English dub, personally. I did play the last Gaiden game, but it wasn't close to the levels of Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Maybe I'll skip this one at launch for now and wait for the next Ichiban adventure.

@Lup Mine is in a few weeks. The Suikoden 1 and 2 Remake is coming out and I'm really interested in getting that.

2008 when I was in the Navy. I had just gotten to a new duty station in Sicily and hadn't received any of my household goods yet. I bought an Xbox 360 on base and Lost Odyssey. Xbox has been my main console ever since (360, OneS, Series X).

I'm waiting for reviews first, but contemplating using my rewards to get Pirate Yakuza.

@Deckard85 Haha, bummer. I do all of my gaming in about a 2hr window each night after the fam is asleep.

@Kaloudz It is stunning. I fully expected that this will get me to South of Midnight, which will get me to Claire Obscure: Expedition 33. My first half of 2025 is set!

@Kaloudz Yep, I have it pre-downloaded for next week. I watched a quick 15-20 mins of the opening yesterday. It looked really good!

Seems like a fun go. I'll give it a shot next week on Game Pass.

Decisions, decisions. Working through Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth second playthrough on Legend to get my final 3 achievements for 100%. Thinking of maybe going back to Dragon Quest XI S again, but Avowed is coming soon. So that may be on hold.

@Scrubchub I'm just not impressed with Bioware. They used to make very good games. I can piece together what I'll like and what I won't after almost 40yrs of gaming. The writing is on the wall.

I haven't played DA: Veilguard, but I have zero hope that ME5 is going to be good.

@Kaloudz They can get pretty technical and there is a learning curve, but nothing crazy. Your stats and equipment will improve over time as well.

@Kaloudz The PGA Tour one on Game Pass is good.

@Isolte In the grand scheme of things, it's just video games and entertainment. If gaming were to all of a sudden end, life would still march on.

@Nintendo4Sonic I'm picky about my JRPGs. I did not like Persona 5 at all, but I love Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. Turn-based are my favorite kind. Claire Obscure: Expedition 33 is my #1 anticipated game this year.

@Nintendo4Sonic I love RPGs and gave Tales of Arise a shot. That was one of the most boring games I'd ever tried. I know it's a popular series, but I just couldn't continue.

I'll definitely try Avowed, because why not? I have Game Pass Ultimate.

Now that I've 100% Indiana Jones I'm finishing a second run through Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, finishing up FFVI, and maybe a little Ninja Gaiden II Black on the side.

@Alstil I play almost everything on or through Game Pass. I've purchased maybe 10 games over the last several years. I'm at a very comfortable place for my gaming habits. Even if the rest of the world hasn't caught on, Xbox is the place to game!

I've only played Ninja Gaiden II Black so far as I spent a good while on Indiana Jones this month. It's an alright month for me, but I'm chomping at the bit for Claire Obscure: Expedition 33. April 24th can't get here soon enough!

@BacklogBrad Agreed. Where money is to be gotten, they will get it. Too much of the Game Pass user base is made up on consoles.

Is this a direct continuation of the first? Or can it be played independent of the first's story.

@Kaloudz I just tried this over my phone and it worked! I've never played, nor am I super interested, but hey, free is free.

@TheGameThrifter I loved it too, but there are an insane amount of bugs. I only experienced a few, but others hit game breaking bugs. People may be holding out on that.
