I still say I am enjoying gaming more now than ever (been gaming since the NES). Xbox has some seriously great features and are pumping out great games on a consistent basis. The next xbox and it's suite of devices really has me intrigued and excited.

Playing through Crash 4 for the first time. Pretty fun!

@Kaloudz That bad? I actually just finished Crash 3 (not 100%) and was thinking of downloading.

I've been waiting on the original Warcraft games. Glad they are now coming.

@dskatter Well, it's pretty easy to tell which is a better, more polished game. Forza Horizon 5 was a near unanimous 10/10.

Self admittedly, FF7 Remake/Rebirth and FFXVI just don't interest me that much and I've been playing FF since the very first game came out on the NES. However, FFXVI doesn't appear to be the one many were waiting on, that would be FF7 Remake. If that one would've been released first and FFXVI later this year, numbers would probably look different and possibly would've helped boost FFXVI interest later this year. I think SquareEnix kinda dropped the ball with this release. It's also going to take a lot of goodwill on their part to repair their image with Xbox gamers.

@ScalenePowers FFXIII is way better than the narrative about it.

@Lup Definitely unto each their own. Hate it isnt working out for you. For what it's worth, a little trick...the correct path is lit up somehow. Usually by lamps or something. Happy gaming my friend!

@Lup The story is amazing. If you just want to burn through it, put it on Story mode and just play the main game. The zones really are small and easy to get through, though.

@Lup I only felt a few zones were confusing. I hope you enjoy it. The game is simply phenomenal!

Fired up The Alters last night. Pretty interesting game. I'll keep with it for a little longer to see how it goes.

@FatGuyInLilCoat This right here. I don't have the time or the extra income to buy every game that comes out. Playing games on Game Pass fits my gaming needs perfectly, even if the price goes up. The day it becomes too much or isn't giving me value is when I decide to stick with what I have and wind down my gaming hobby. I'm 43 and can't play games forever anyway.

I expected VII Remake sooner than fall. Not super excited for either, but super happy Square Enix is releasing on Xbox again. FF Tactics is a day one purchase for me though!

Some great Game Pass reveals and possibly FFIX would be fine with me. I wish I didn't have to wait until September for FF Tactics, but at least it's coming.

@FatGuyInLilCoat So jealous. I'm on New Game+. I'd love to experience Expedition 33 from scratch again. Such an amazing game. Have a blast and take your time.

@ScalenePowers Very underrated game. I loved it back at release! A FFXIII Trilogy Remaster would be great!

Either keep going with playthrough 2 of Epedition 33, but I might finally start FFXII again. Maybe we'll get some new shadow drops tomorrow as well. Exciting weekend for sure! Can't wait for the Xbox Showcase!

Im excited to see what they've been cooking! A year ago Expedition 33 came out of left field and blew us all away. Who else might they be partnering with, let alone internally working on?

My dream has come true! I don't need FF7 Remake, Rebirth, or XVI! Day one purchase for me! One of my top games of all time.

@Kaloudz I can't stop playing it! Yes, DLC is all but confirmed attic point and hopefully a sequel. I bet the DLC will be mostly superbosses and lore. I think you're right on a sequel though with your spoiler content.

@mac_da_man I'm 4 achievements away from 100% (music, journals, gestrals, and I missed the Lumiere mime). Hoping to finish soon.

@Kaloudz Also Medallum. It starts you out in Virtuous stance. A must to do major damage with her. When you start to understand pictos and lumina it really opens up. Also, lots of extra story bits to find too. I just got Maelle, Lune, and Verso to lvl 99.

@Kaloudz Maelle, Lune, Verso. Maelle is who I hit 63M damage with.

@Kaloudz yeah, he is the hardest boss in the game. Near impossible if you can't one shot him. What you really want to add is anything that boosts damage and ability to act first, especially at low health or under certain status effects. It's really simple if you do it that way. There are a bunch of pictos that do this, like lower health down to 1, which is what you want if you are one shotting everything before it can attack. That's a very basic explanation, but it really isn't all that hard to do. Plenty of guides loneliness to assist.

@Kaloudz It's all about the pictos and lumina. You have to have the right ones to even have a chance. It is insane how powerful you can be if you pursue it. I've only recently been getting into it and my main 3 are around level 97-98 and the other two 91. I have several weapons at lvl 33.

I've done nothing but play Expedition 33 since launch. It was my most anticipated game for the whole year and it has not disappointed. Almost 100% after 88hrs.

@Kaloudz I played for about an hour on release date and turned around and bought the Digital Deluxe right away. Such a great value. Amazing game. 88 hours later and I just destroyed Simon last night, one-shotting him for over 63M damage!😃 Only 5 more achievements to go for 100%.

@RiverGenie Yup. I think we can tend to forget how things used to be or look at the past with rose tinted glasses. Can you imagine if we had something like Gamepass growing up? Gaming is already too expensive as is. Gamepass helps alleviate some of that. It's pretty much my main and only source of gaming now.

I watch them on my own. Wife could care less and a lot of the content isn't appropriate for my 8 yr old. Nice little break by myself.

@Lup That was part of it. I didn't really like the content and story. I bounced after the first boss battle.

Downloaded, so I'll give it a go. I did not like Persona 5 Royal, so hoping it's not too much like that. Either way, I still have more to do in Expedition 33. Only 6 achievements left and 80+hrs in.

@Kaloudz I had played it back at release on the PS1, so I was well aware of what I was getting into. It really is a good game, but it is so easy to steamroll anything in that game with the right junctions. Find a strategy guide and give her another go. Really easy to get all achievements in comparison to FF9.

@Kaloudz Hahaha, VIII is so busted if you junction the right magic. Great game though.

@Kaloudz I'll welcome it, and maybe even get, but I want to see a Chrono Trigger and FF Tactics: War of the Lions port. Maybe they'll announce FFIX Remake!

@xeofate Expedition 33 certainly deserves it. I'm still cleaning up end-game content even though I beat the game a long time ago. Currently sitting at almost 81 hours. I don't have much left, but I just feel obligated to 100% as it's so good!

@Lup Infinte Wealth was criminally undervalued. A 10/10 that didn't get treated as such.

I did not like Persona 5, but I'll give this one a go.

Nothing current. I've only bought a handful of games day 1 since about 2022 and although all have been great, I wouldn't pay a full $80 on day one. Full disclosure though, almost everything has been bought with rewards points, so I'm not really spending cash anyway.

The Last few years have been crazy good. I anticipate there are a lot of unannounced games we will hear about.
