The curtain was finally pulled back on Mythic Achievements this week as Xbox's equivalent to a Platinum Trophy was rolled out to Xbox Insiders, with a full public release set to follow in the coming weeks.

Just to remind you, Mythic Achievements are awarded for completing all "original achievements" in an Xbox game, meaning you don't need to get all the DLC achievements or anything that's added in a later title update.

They're also backdated all the way back to the Xbox 360 era, so we're talking 20 years' worth of history.

"You earn a Mythic Achievements when you complete all original achievements for a game. Achievements added later through DLC or updates aren’t required, and once you’ve earned Mythic status, it’s yours to keep."

"Mythic Achievements have already been added to eligible games you completed in the past, including XBOX 360 titles. So, the next time you visit your profile, you may discover that some of your favorite games have already reached Mythic status."

With that in mind, then, how many do you reckon you'll have? There's quite an easy way of checking this - go to your profile on Xbox, scroll over to the gaming tab, and then filter your achievements for "Completed" titles. Anything you see in there with the 100% completion should technically be rewarded with a Mythic in the near future.

That said, it's worth keeping in mind that Xbox says "eligible" games will get the Mythic, and it's yet to be determined whether there are any exceptions from the past 20 years that aren't applicable.

Assuming everything is counted though, how many do you reckon you'll have? It's only a few in my case (I very rarely 100% complete a game), but I reckon some Pure Xbox users could literally have hundreds of Mythics waiting for them!
