Not much this weekend, but very excited for Final Fantasy Tactics coming out next week!

Very blah to be honest. It was the worst xbox stream in several years now. Hopefully they get back to form in January. Very surprised they did not announce the ROG Ally prices.

Getting this one. Just haven't decided if I want the base game or the deluxe edition yet.

@AverageJoseph I had only played Dragon Warrior on the gameboy (finished), a little bit of VII on PS (don't think I got far), VIII (never finished), XI S on Xbox (finished, thank you Game Pass), and now III (finished). I have definitely slept on this amazing series until lately. Interestingly enough it was Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Ichiban's love of DQ that made me really want to dive into this series again. So glad I have and what a better time to do so!

@AverageJoseph the DQ 3 Remake is Amazing! I got it at the end of July and 100% it last night with about 68hrs put in.

@AverageJoseph That is what holds me back. Dragon Quest XI S is the best new RPG that Square Enix has released. The Octopath Traveler games are good too, but for the grand Final Fantasy style games, Dragon Quest has now become my favorites over recent FF games.

Are these Remakes really any good? I'm just so turned off that they abandoned turn-based and dragged the game out so much.

Dragon Quest VII, nice! Just finished Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake last night. Dragon Quest I + II later this year and VII in February! Lots to look forward to for us old-school RPG fans!

@AlwaysPlaying I was blessed with the Just For You Offer and got the collection for only $30 two or three years ago. That was a no brainer.

This will probably be the FF7 Remake release announcement. Maybe even a shadow drop.

Amazing game. Can't wait to see what comes next, whether that be DLC, sequel, or any new direction. Please keep it turn-based though.

I could care less about the skins, but a simple solution would be to allow a player to disable the skins in game so they only see the operator that they are modeled on. To be honest anyone that wants these crazy skins makes themselves stick out like a sore thumb anyway.

@Altaria_97 Same here. I've been playing on Xbox since 2008, but I never really got into that series. Maybe I'll give it a shot again.

@Weebleman Origins was the slog for me, but I played Odyssey a few years before I ever touched Origins. I maybe got halfway through.

@Weebleman I really enjoyed Odyssey. Nearly 100% it and 2/3 of the DLCs. Valhalla didn't grab me. Still debating picking up Shadows at some point.

I would love to know where Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is right now after hitting 3.3M in 33 days.

@Tasuki Ah! Thanks for the friendly reminder. I 100% Suikoden when it released earlier this year, but I need to go back and start Suikoden II.

Working my way through Dragon Quest III HD-2D. Such a great game.

@somnambulance Not releasing at Gamescom, just playable on the ROG Ally X on the floor. No release date yet. They did state it wasn't necessarily at launch for the Rog Ally X though.

@somnambulance Silksong is already confirmed. It will be playable on the ROG Ally X at the show.

I've been playing Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake and love it. Gonna keep going with this one over the weekend. Just taking my time with it.

Sure would be nice if Microsoft would allow me to redeem my points right now. I've been fighting with them all month about it. 165k+ rewards points and I can't do a thing with them.

@themightyant Fair point about it being more front loaded than recent. This definitely hurts their image for the whole generation though. It certainly doesn't help when the system's best sellers come from a publisher that for years and years was claimed to "have no games." Sony kind of gives the air of not having it all together this generation either.

@DennisReynolds I wasn't referring to quality as much as quantity. Two releases of note isn't really all that much in 5 years. Especially in comparison to previous generations.

Not surprised. What exactly has Sony released this generation? Maybe a few games of note? Xbox has released a crazy amount of good games in just the last year alone.

@DaveTheRave And that is equally valid. I only game an hour or so each evening due to life and family. That's why Game Pass works for me. I will never play everything that comes out anyway and Game Pass has never shortage of games. I'll buy something if Im that interested in playing. Happy gaming brother!

@DaveTheRave I like the Game Pass and Xbox way because gaming is just a hobby for me. I don't collect as they take up too much space. I rarely replay what I've already beaten. I have a massive amount of games to play at any given moment. Makes perfect sense to me and others. We probably don't share the same gaming mentality, which is cool too. Options are always better than being locked into one console and one way of experiencing gaming.

I'm still surprised we are not able to go back and play the previous ones on Game Pass yet.

@Lup Infinite Wealth is such a fantastic game. I have all the achievements as well. Another playthrough to get all jobs to 99 certainly wouldn't be a waste of time by any means.

@Kaloudz Yeah, Golgra is tough in the Gestral Village, but I found her a lot easier in the two other optional locations. I was a pretty high level at that those times though. The one-shot Maelle build will destroy Golgra.

@Kaloudz You gotta get gud, lol. Do know that every enemy's HP is higher in New Game +.

@Kaloudz You can switch out the character on screen, but as soon as you pick up with Gustave after the landing, you have all characters available in battle but one. Im pretty sure you can figure out why, hahaha. You also have all weapons, skill points, pictos, and items and catalysts.

@Kaloudz no. You keep nearly everything but the collectibles. You even start out with a full party too.

@Kaloudz So true, but it is fun absolutely destroying enemies early on. The game is so fast on New Game+.

@Kaloudz I'm just taking my time here and there, but I'm on Act II doing optional content before taking on the Axons.

I've been hoping we get the original Warcraft games. Great additions!

Definitely a hard game, but playing on modern with unlimited lives makes up for it. I'm not doing a 100% completion, but I have been able to make it pretty far. I think I'm on the 5th world (the ice one).
