Shall wait out for reviews as for plenty to play and also some good games coming to GP February, March, April and May.
I only buy games now if they are of exceptional quality in all areas.
Plus open world fatigue is starting to set in now a days.

Yes they do sometimes but they get the games out, and that’s due to focus on that game and probably micromanaging.

Finally Xbox look like they are they starting to do the same, earn their money and manage their studios. Starting with 343i as we have seen.

I hate this sort of news. And for one reason only.
They could have been a lot further along with Gears 6 and probably almost nearing to release date. Maybe 2023 or 2024 who knows.

Have said it before on here, Xbox have their studios working on too many games at once.

Sony get the big AAA games out like them or not because they focus on that one game mainly and on one or two systems PS4 and PS5.

Don’t forget an Xbox studios has to focus on series s and x and pc and cloud gaming on all devices. That is enough in its self.

Perhaps finally they are taking note and realising this after all my moaning 😂😂😂

Don’t spread your assists to much else you end up with nothing or long delays.

So it should be due soon and I can’t wait.
One of if not my most favourite Xbox franchise.
Always extremely polished and leading the way for Xbox.

Different strategy or not.
The Series consoles including the very cheap series s are tracking sales from release to date lower than Xbox one in the USA.
Is that really a good strategy or healthy position to be in, definitely not.

I just want Xbox to get back to being its best.
But you know I think a lot about it.
And I just don’t get their strategy overall.
Some of it is ok, but the rest of what I would implement is just missing.

If GP don’t do it for them, will be interesting to see what they do next.

Also you never see an Xbox exclusive in the game charts etc for free publicity.
GP is not hitting it like Xbox thought it might.
It’s gonna take a lot of must have AAA games and very good PR to get close to say selling as many subscriptions as Nintendo Switch consoles.

I still believe though the more Xbox consoles you sell the more game pass you can sell.

Let’s be honest if xbox had sold say 40 million series consoles, Phil and the gang would be letting the world know about it for sure.

It would also give them more power in the third party advertising rights.

As much as us xboxers like to think it’s a different strategy which it is to a point.
A lot will come down to console sales.
I mean GP which I have is only sitting at about 18 million, that’s on all platforms. That is less than series consoles sold let alone PS5 consoles and let’s not mention Switch sales.
So game pass is not the amazing flying of the shelf product.

But you would think Hogwarts is a Sony exclusive seeing the adverts in the UK.
Xbox need to get a grip of this as this game will be extremely popular.
Not sure but who has the new Star Wars game out in April advertising rights.
Believe it or not this advertising rights and games looking like Sony exclusives really does damage Xbox sales.

It’s doesn’t bother me personally.
But why for single player solo play?

Unfortunately that is what is required sometimes
And I hope it has woken Xbox Microsoft up a bit.
Maybe it had to happen and will improve management in the near future.

Wow and I thought they had created a whole new beginner for Halo Infinite.
Oh well see you in about five years new Halo campaign.
Lets really hope Microsoft, Xbox and Phil have learnt a massive lesson to move forward, with all management of all their studios.

Until other Xbox studios old and since being purchased produce at this level, then I will add to the list 😂

Done with campaign which was ok.
Also gameplay handling etc was very good for me.

The campaign just lacked size, things to do.
And we won’t mention the 2010 graphics and one biome that’s was truly pathetic.

6 years they spent on that open world, not one weather effect etc etc the list goes on, it looked like a student cut and paste job.

I think some on here are just sore about 2022 including me a bit.
But I’m in a positive 2023 and with Rush shadow drop and Redfall landing exactly when I said ages ago and Forza and Starfield landing when I expected and said, I’m in good frame of xbox mind.
In addition Atomic heart, Wo Long and Minecraft dropping soon on GP can’t moan now 😂😂😂

Not a bad, Feb, March, April and May.

What some don’t realise and I sort of thought about it. Yes up front Phil is saying nice things, cool.
But it’s a business and in the background they have the Bethesda group and also after ABK.

Totally agree there, the gameplay fps and the added grapple hook was spot on for me. Could have not been better.
Let’s hope this time we am outstanding AAA game.
I also definitely it will be this new generation only and that’s a good thing in my opinion.
I wonder if they also realised that they also couldn’t go forward to much if they had to keep including last generation.

It is shame it came to this and of course a shame that Halo Infinite did not become what it should have been.
But what I hope is Phil and the team have learnt from this and moving forward know when to micromanage a studio and when not to.

I mean, I’m definitely sure 343i needed micromanagement and dealing with, but you will probably find Tango Games who just released HiFi Rush were left to it, the same for Playground games with FH5.
The trick is knowing when and monitoring you studios correctly.

Playing hi fi rush and having a blast.
Currently I voted Redfall as it seems to defiantly be my type of game.
Starfield might be but not seen enough of it yet and also if releasing maybe November 2023 there is time for work to be done on it.

Redfall is my sort of game. Good fps with some exploration and side quests as well.
I know the fps will be spot in as well.
And of course vampires 🧛‍♂️

I see some have been moaning about the graphics, but they have a little point.
But these new generation consoles are not super powerful PCs.
If you want to run pure real 4K native at a locked 60fps with HDR and VRR then something has to give a bit.
Yes HFW probably the best looking console open world game runs now where near a true native 4K at locked 60fps. There are more visual tricks and coding going on than a magician performs.

So even though these consoles are powerful they are not what I call super powerful machines.
The best graphics on these consoles at true native 4K locked 60fps will be racing games.
Hence why Forza looks so good.

Looks like Xbox is hitting its beat in 2023.

I guess a lot depends on USA acceptance of it as well. Xbox like to keep the home grown crowd happy.
