I always say how bad it is that Sony messed up their once mighty TV division and lost out to Samsung and LG.
2022 I bought and LGC2 65 and not a Sony, why?
Four HDMI 2:1 ports and all the Dolby atoms, vision, VRR and 120hz and not having to choose what features can run simultaneously.
Even this year 2023 Sony top OLED are only getting two HDMI 2:1 ports and one of them is earc port as well, that is piss poor form Sony.

Yes they do keep a fair amount of games off Xbox. Look at FF for a start.
Death loop and ghost wire for a year.
And probably Redfall if the purchase had not happened.
You could argue they sort of prodded Microsoft, so Microsoft went one stage further went we will buy the studios and that will stop that.

I thought Sony Japan would have taken charge and told Jim and gang to stay out of it now.

Then again I remember Sega Japan Vs Sega American having a falling out and going different directions over the Mega drive 32x and releasing the Sega Saturn.

I think Sony now need to dust off move forward and promote their games etc etc and move on.

Have played probably nearly all the Zelda games.
Took me a couple of attempts to get into BOTW but once my brain clicked and also got used to the change, I would see it as one of the best games I’ve ever played overall.

Soz mean advertising rights deal all over the media, looking exclusive.
Maybe minor but with this and other games it all adds up for PlayStation consoles and game sales etc.

Played original on my one x and is very sharp compared to other console versions and felt smoother.
Sure it was full 4K then, but not sure of the fps though.

Already have the white one and enjoying.

What I don’t understand with all these MK wanna be racers over the years, none have copied the simple online racing of MK. here’s a 1000 points and try to get more by tracing well against 12 opponents on line and here’s a simple structure to do it with. It’s such a simple and winning formula and why so many play MK.

How the hell do you release a game with controller dead zone and stick acceleration issues, it’s only a process setting to change.
A wonderful remake spoiled on series x by some num nut at Capcom missing the error.

Surely a quick patch in a week at the most can sort this out.

When ABK goes through I hope they never release a single title for PlayStation platform again.

Wow I thought they would have pushed the resolution up near to 4K also with some clever trickery.

It’s all about the drifting mechanics for me.
If it drifts and rides like MK then they could have a great game on their hands.
If it drifts like other MK wanna be games then it won’t suit me.

Was it not 60fps with VRR normally helps smooth things out for me.

This game is either gonna float around the low eighties or smash it in low to mid nighties.
Really hope it’s the latter not just for gamers but for Arkane and Xbox.

That is fantastic news 20 hours long racing through campaign means probably 25 hours for me then lots more hours for side quests and collecting things.

At least 2023 looking a lot better for xbox studios which if they manage well should lead to a fantastic 2024.

Have a feeling this year there will be about three games that pop big time with their respective crowds and critics and be commercial a good success.
BOTW 2
Spider man 2
And probably Starfield

I know depending the new Fifa and COD will sell loads as well.

Yes it did pretty well about 87, perhaps developers should make smaller games at a slightly lower price that are focused and pretty good.

A very good new ip should be able to create enjoyment and be good enough to be as good or better than the resident evil 4 remake and Metroid Prime remake.
Like I said, what’s going on with new game development now a days, I think it’s cost and getting cheaply made and releasing early to get some money back on investment. Or the developers quality is just not there.
Those two remakes will most probably have the highest metacritic scores of 2023, that’s saying something about new game development today.

A big success was Metroid prime remake and Resident Evil 4 remake.
Both remakes and both more highly scored games and better overall than atomic heart.
And that’s my beef, remakes of old games better than new ones. What’s new game development doing.

Me thinking another game that’s gonna get the same as atomic heart reception.

I don’t mind sub as have GPU until March 2025 through deals.
Just want the games to be the best they can be and excel in every way possible.
I can’t see the point of years of hard work like Atomic heart, good game and probably sold a few, but definitely not many purchased sales.
When that game being developed a bit better could have been a masterpiece fps.

That’s were we maybe have a different opinion I’m not sure.
But I would gladly pay £22 per month if the big games released were top end AAA all masterpieces. Paying £11 and getting to try a game means absolutely nothing to me if in the next breath I’m gonna delete it, if it’s average.
I’m mainly a big AAA top end game player know a days and new games of course.

Now don’t get me wrong I will be delighted if Redfall is top end AAA and want it to be. The same for Starfield and joining in with other consoles BOTW2 and say Spider man 2.
That’s were my gaming is done now and let’s hope all those games live up to expectations.

Don’t care what Sony or even Nintendo are doing.
Let’s see some top end controller in hand real proper gameplay say five minutes in various locations doing various things.
Then if all is great I will get excited.
Been about to long I’m afraid to even think about any excitement for this game until I see a lot more.

I get you buddy and it never bothers me.
I just guess if you playing single player and your internet goes down you want to carry on playing.

I shall pick the simplest console as an example.
I mean imagine I’m in the middle of BOTW2 having an excellent gaming session and have to stop as the internet has gone down, that would annoy me.

Very nice and pretty.
Now show me the game, the game graphics, the game play, the game environments all in action etc. Then we can talk.

Never want any game to get bad reviews on any console, that creates less competition as well if games are bad on one console format.
You want all three to have top end games to keep each company trying really hard to get our hard earned cash in this testing times.

And how many of those 5 million download it played for an hour or two then deleted it.
Such a crap metric this is.

Chill those excited gamers, don’t sound all that to me. We shall see come May but I have my doubts about this game but hope it’s a masterpiece.

Sales sales sales.
The Switch dashboard is so simple and quick with no crap on the screen.
As a gamer that’s all I need thank you.
