Playing HAAK on switch right now and loving it (nobody is talking about this game, shame). So this will be my next metroidvania style game. I hope the difficulty won’t turn me off though. It will all depend on the reponsiveness of the control like it often is in these games.

Standard controller with a CollectiveMind back buttons attachment is already perfect for me

Loved the first one but if they don’t bring something unique to the table it’s just going to be Dying Light without the parkour

The original is not only the best by far but also one of the best game ever made

That could be interesting for future releases since, on pc at least, you have access to the ultimate edition of the games, not just the base one so the value is huge since those editions are stupid expensive

I think it’s the right move. In term of character creation it gives you more freedom than a character with its own voice and personality.
Cyberpunk is the best exemple of that lately. I made a great character but after hearing V’s voice I deceided to completely change the way he looked because it just did not match. You don’t have this probleme with a mute character

Setting wise, it’s my avortie AC of the last trilogy. NG+ at 60fps? I’m in.

I think because it's coming out during summer that it has a chance but if it gets pushed back to oct/nov then it's DOA.

Just the fact that he writes remake/remastered tells me that it’s a remastered. A remake is a huge undertaking but it would be awesome to see the first game with the same graphical quality as the sequel.

I’ve played 3 games in BC. The Dead Space trilogy and that’s it.

For me its simple, no day one first party games, no deal. I’ll stat with the base service

I find the difference between XSX and PS5 quite big, much more dramatic than Cyberpunk for exemple. Sony have begin rolling out their VRR update on their TVs so the PS5 itself shouldn’t far behind but I still think that falling back on VRR to have “steady” framerate just excuses poor optimization. Fromsoft games are always all over the place in term of framerates when they come out (not counting remastered and remakes here) and they don’t really care about really fixing it. They are master artists and game designers but they have a ***** engine to work with it seems

I'm always happy to pay for great indie games when they are not on gamepass. But if it's more than 40$ I'll wait for a discount

I loved this game so much back then, one of my favorites of its generation

Going by that list I now realize that I'm not a big fan of the games Activision publishes. Beside the Spyro remakes, which I have not played, none of these interest me. Compared with the library we got with the Bethesda's deal, I really don't care if any of these come to gamepass.

Like 99% of third party games I still will get it on XSX over PS5 because Microsoft let me use the controller I want to use and for a game like this I need my back buttons

A version of ME2 with the updated combat of ME3 would make it an 11/10

@Richnj yup, at first it will be enough for the people owning these to just "own" something nobody else does but after a while, if this thing really catch on, people will demand owning items that really make a difference in term of gameplay and the publishers will gladly make it so.

I remember all too well when Deus Ex Human Revolution came out, the only way to have a sniper rifle with a silencer in the game was via a preorder dlc AND it was exclusive to amazon if I remember correctly. That gun, for me, changed how I played the game in certain circumstances and opened gameplay possibilities not available without it. So yeah, *****

It sucks for people with slow/limited internet connection. Maybe the game is all there but microsoft made it so that it needs an “unlock” on the 8th just so people can’t play in advance

Still don’t get why no dishonored 2.
They did death of the outsider and it’s a standalone expansion of D2. Weird.
AC: Origins might a boost from Ubi themselves since they did it for Odyssey but I’m not holding my breath

yes this is why people are frustrated.
XP boosts are common that’s not the point.
It’s making sure people feel forced to buy one if they, at least, want the same xp rate they’ve been used to for months. THAT is ***** scummy

Liked what I was seeing in the trailer until the timer feature appeared, then it was a big nope. If I had nothing to play, maybe but it’s sure isn’t the case right now

It’s just PR, bad PR. But you’ll get much more attention if you make huge changes to an existing franchise instead of a new game with a generic title.

It’s like changing the race or sexual orientation of an already established character in comics.

But yeah, it sucks. Just imagine what we could end up with with the next assassin creed.

Does it have the same noticeable lag the wireless one have though? Because that’d be a deal breaker right there.

Also, do you have access to the equilizer settings with this one as well?

Demo was alright but I hope the final release will have a 60fps option because nothing in this game demands a 30fps cap on next gen.

Am I the only one who’s getting invisible menus with the update?
Just at the beginning after pressing A. I can hear the options being selected when I press the D-Pad but the menu itself is invisible.
I downloaded it twice and also restarted my console, still happening.

EDIT: Ok, looks like it’s a widespread issue and they are investigating it just so you all know

One of my favorite games on last gen. Played it twice but this update will make me go through it once again with my NG+ save file

It would have been great. Liked the demo but not enough to buy it full price.

@Enigk a score alone is meaningless, it's the why that counts and in this case nothing is worse than a boring open world and quests structure, no matter how beautiful it might be
