But it's not as impossible as it sounds : we can say what we want about Nintendo but their games are barely updated (to fix bugs, I mean, not to add content, as in Smash Bros).

I've read elsewhere someone writing the same thing about Death Stranding, for example. And it's damn right : we can love or hate the game, but it's a fact that it was released in a finished form, and was developped in a very efficient way. New studio, new IP, everything was to build up from the ground and Kojima and his team did it wonderfully.

And I'm saying that as someone who was not interly convinced by the proposition of the game in itself. But professionnaly and technicaly, the game was just on point.

I really want to see something like that, for StarField. I don't want a Fallout 99 for this game. The stakes are way too high. It has to be a critical success, from day one.

StarField, but I'm very anxious about the possibility of a game so ambitious that it would be launched full of bugs and problems, à la Cyberpunk 2077.

I wan a real great game, a complete one, from day one, and not a beta which will be competed after a year or two of updates.

I never touched Fortnite, but now I understand the feeling, how this all system is made to get those kids go steal their parent's credit card xD

I understand the free-to-play model and the fact that there has to be an income at some point for the dev's, but I really think that everything should be unlockable by playing, even if it's a hell of a grind.

And then you would have the possibility to just buy it, if you don't have the time, or the will, to grind it.

But here, with all this awesome cosmetics only avalaible in the shop (and at what price !)... it kinda negates the all purpose of the battle pass, in my opinion.

Personnaly, I did not buy -yet- the season pass, but I bought one cool set that I like for 10 bucks (same price as the all pass, so). This was my way of supporting the dev, of paying for something in this amazing game.

I just can't understand how a big budget game like that can render this type of cutscenes. Especially when the rest of the game is perfectly fine, visually speaking. It's beyond me.

I've always been so frustrated by Path of Neo.

Why ?

Because I've got the damn game, right under my eyes, as I'm typing this, and no console to play it ! The disc isn't compatible with xbox 360 (which I believed when I purchased it, years ago) and neither with One or Series consoles, off course.

I was really expecting a final BC shadow drop of these two games in order to celebrate the movie, but... no.

I want to play Path of Neo, so I'm trying to install the PC version right now (easy to find when you're looking a little), but I don't know how my poor laptop will go with this one.

By the way, I've watched again the trilogy, to be prepared for next week. Say what you want about those two sequels (which I love) but the first one is an instant classic that will never grow old.

Next Gears is gonna be nutz !

Even the soldier's wife, in the hologram he's holding, at the very beginning, is a joke compared to the first trailer. Like... in the trailer, she really looked like an actual person, here she's... a joke, I don't know.

And what's driving me crazy is that the game actually looks better than it's cutscene counterpart. It's crazy.

We have to talk about Melina Juergens's incredible performance, here !

This woman got cast by accident, for f... sake ! She was a humble video editor, working at Ninja Theory, who just accepted to fill the part until they find a real actress.

And the team was so stuned by her performance that they asked to keep her at the main character.

It's incredible. Her story, her performance, everything.

She was extraordinary in the first one, and she gave me chills in this trailer.

I'm so desperate to play this game, IT IS THE ONE that makes me decide for a Series X instead of a Playstation. And I'm saying that as a lover of PS's narrative IPs.

But this game, fellows.. I just could not pass this game.

Actually, it's my only concern, since I find everything else so good.

But what happened with thoses cutscenes ? It's all laggy, jaggy, downgraded from the first trailer (still got the video on my hard drive, it was 60 fps, not... 18 or 24 then 26, then 20).

The cutscenes of Halo 5 were so good (I'm among the two people on the planet who really liked Halo 5 campaign), so polished. Here, they all seems so... rough, I don't know.

Maybe it will be fixed in a future patch ?

I don't know if there's a lot of people concerned about the 120fps thing, in general...

I think for the time being, the games should focus on giving us the maximum quality possible with a 60 frame refresh rate.

I'm still torn apart on Forza, for example. I really, really like the picture of the quality mode, but the 30 fps just makes the game more difficult to control.

Coming from the PS4 and its folders (which I adore), I was confused, at first, when I discovered the UI of my brand new Xbox One X.

But then, I learned not only to like it, but to love it.
The games folder, my collection, the ability to create groups (which immediatly made me create groups like "Halo Saga" or "Sega Collection")...

I think it's quite perfect as it is. Except, yes... except this add tile on the main screen.
That really annoys me.

Seriously, the game was upped to 4K on Xbox One X, and now to 60 fps on Series X... which basically makes it a proper remaster.

I had the game on 360, I can tell you all that this is definitely not the same game !!

Waiting for all that, playin Forza Horizon 5 and HALO Multiplayer (first time in my life I'm actually enjoying a multiplayer mode).

This end of the year is just unbeliveable to my eyes.

For my defense, I'd say that I bought the game day one to support the project, but also cause I was not aware of all this "beta-game-not-finished" stuff.

It's when I read about it that I decided to wait a little before installing it. At first, I thought that I'd have to wait one week or two. Maybe a month. But I never thought I'd have to wait for more than a god damn year ! xD

I know for a fact the game is stable, at this point. At least on Series X. But having waited so long, I'm decided now to wait until the real next-gen update.

Still got in on disc, unsealed. Never installed it, still waiting for the next-gen version to begin a proper playthrought. I can wait a little more ^^

Manual cache.

It's a must have for me. The PC version has it, but not the console version. Without it, and with my poor internet connection, I just loose the point of the all game.
