Farming Simulator 22 Seems To Be Off To A Great Start On Xbox

There's no doubt that Farming Simulator is one of the most popular franchises of its kind, and the latest release in Farming Simulator 22 appears to be off to a great start on Xbox, also sporting highly impressive numbers on PC.

Following its launch on November 22nd, the game rocketed towards the peak of the 'Top Paid Games' list in both the UK and US (and likely many other regions), now sitting alongside the likes of Far Cry 6, Battlefield 2042, Forza Horizon 5 and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition in terms of current popularity.

Meanwhile, the game recently achieved a whopping 100,000 concurrent players on Steam, surpassing many giants in the 'Current Players' list for a temporary period, including Apex Legends, PUBG and even Halo Infinite.

As for the reviews, they're a bit few and far between right now, but the game is averaging around 80/100 across all platforms on Metacritic. Our sister site Push Square recently scored Farming Sim 22 a 7/10, criticising the initial time sink, but ultimately praising it as "the best entry in Giants Software’s series yet".

In general, it sounds like another very successful release then!

Don't forget that Farming Simulator 19 is also available with Xbox Game Pass if you're interested.
