I am a series s owner for almost a year now and I did not buy this console to play Xbox exclusive , I played a lot of forza horizon 5 because it’s a really good game, and halo infinite for the campaign but it was my first halo game , I bought this console for gamepass and to play all the games that my switch can’t run or run badly and I love it this far . So it’s dull to see games pushed back but with gamepass I already have a ton of games to play so I will wait and play something else. Developers should not give release date they should work on games and deliver them when they are ready.

The end of 2022 is very sad with botw2 delayed and now starfield , I hope 2023 will be better.

At digital foundry they tested some of the demos and it's very taxing and near impossible to get 60fps with this engine on high end pcs imagine on next gen consoles ,developpers will have to downgrade or not use all the bells and whistle to achieve 60 fps. For sure it will not look like this video.

At least we have the choice , when developers don’t give choices to the players it’s annoying, I have a series s and I really like to play at 1080p 60fps and it’s doable on a lot of games but when the developers just give us a 1440p 30fps option it’s dull like cyberpunk I tried the demo and didn’t buy the game cause I want 60fps.At least here people have the choice.

Blasted through trek to yomi very beautiful game that capture the old samurai movies but like most people didn’t like the control and combat I button mashed the x through the entire game after trying to block and react to the enemy moves but unresponsive block move wasn’t a good strategy for me .

It have more a Bayonetta feel than dark souls at least from the trailer .

@Kirkpad I don’t play war zone or Fortnite or any multiplayer I mostly play single player games I started playing the artful escape this week end and I like it so far , with gamepass ultimate there is so much good games to play that these free games just can’t compete with the rest and my limited play time.

@Dusk_Actual I tried the game this afternoon but that’s not my cup of tea , it’s not ugly the art style is good the music too but the controls felt loose but I can understand why you liked it but for me it’s a no .

After last months weak offerings it’s an insane month I will download everyone of them.

Trek to yomi looks cool, eiyuden chronicles might be a good jrpg, and sniper elite 5 will be good too that seem to be a good month, but like other people said I am drowning under my backlog can’t see the end. And I don’t want it to end .

Just hope they continue working on series s for a 1080p 60 fps option.

Hope the switch and series s will benefit from this to boost frame rate and resolution.

It needs a 60 fps mode on series s at 30 fps this game is hard to play!

For me RT is a gimmick that don’t make enough difference when you actually play a game but the frame rate is important because it have a direct impact on the gameplay 1080p 60fps should be the lowest acceptable frame rate and resolution on all action games.

And what about breath of the wild sequel if it comes out in November 2022 maybe it will impact hogwarts too!

Played these games on ds and they are really good games, great visual novel style games, with branching paths and different endings depending of your choices.

Never played this game before so for me it’s a no brainer at this price for my series s.

Played 5 chapters on my series s this weekend and love it , it’s beautiful, it’s fun , it’s a must play if you like adventure games.

Was hoping to see this on Xbox but with gamepass it’s even better.

Forza horizon 5 for me gets the crown , it’s one of my favorite game this year.

25$ for a sequel to a mediocre game no thanks , but as a game pass game why not .

It’s seem weird west shadow dropped to gamepass in North America last night!

With Xbox series and ps5 being the console to look forward the switch will be left out by the third party publishers since it will be harder and harder to port games to this console , maybe Nintendo will finally see the need for a more powerful switch.

@__jamiie oops you’re right my bad , but it shows that put in the right hands a game can be optimized for almost any platform and I think they have just been lazy on the series s version like most third party will do because it’s not the flagship console , I just finished halo infinite campaign and the gameplay was smooth , playing this game after halo it just doesn’t feel good returning to 30fps.

@__jamiie From the people who ported Witcher 3 to Nintendo switch I think they can do magic maybe they just did not put much effort in the series s version and they also ported snowrunner on the switch .

@Secryt we don’t ask for the same thing ,1080p 60fps is not the same as 4K 60fps with ray tracing try reading correctly before judging others.

I have a series s plugged to a 1080p 60hz projector so I don’t care about 1440p 30hz I wan’t the option to have 1080p 60hz that’s what I need, like most Xbox series s owner!

Tried it on series s and it definitely need a 1080p 60fps option the aiming is awful and hard to play intense shooting and action sequence.

The game I am most interested for February is Edge of eternity.

I see games with gold as a bonus for the online service, the game service is gamepass and with ultimate you have access to the full service with ea games pc gamepass games with gold and online and cloud gaming , Microsoft want’s you to pay for gamepass ultimate not just games with gold that’s why they don’t give much with it.

I have just finished It takes two with my daughter and I must say it’s one of the best game I have ever played full of diversity, fun ,touching, well done not too difficult and it runs great on series s 9.9/10.
