Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 21-22)

Welcome to the weekend! As usual, we've got more new Xbox Game Pass titles to check out over the next few days, an extra batch of Free Play Days titles, and the wide range of Deals with Gold and similar sales on Xbox right now.

Here's what we're playing this weekend:

I'm having a few days off from work at the moment, so I've got some time to play a few things. The one game that I've found myself being pleasantly surprised by is Soundfall, which is a great new rhythm-based dungeon crawler. It's not the type of game I'd typically find myself playing, but the soundtrack is great — I'm pretty hooked!

Aside from that, I've been busy reviewing a curious little platformer ahead of its release later this month, and I'm still very much hooked on eFootball PES 2021 (but on PC for the mods). It's probably about time I tried eFootball 2022 again, but I'm just really not a fan of what Konami has done with its football franchise... PES didn't need to die!

Have a good weekend, folks.

Well, this weekend on Xbox is all about both Arma Reforger and Evil Dead: The Game for me. I'm still getting to grips with Reforger, it's a tough nut to crack in terms of getting used to how it all operates, but I've been extracting plenty of tense joy from the firefights I've engaged in with its extremely capable enemy AI.

As far as Evil Dead: The Game goes, I bought it a few days ago and have yet to have a go, so I'm looking forward to finally settling into some suitably bloody action at some point over the next few days.

Have a good weekend, whatever you're up to or playing!

It's an evil weekend for me as I too will be sinking some more time into Evil Dead: The Game! My first impressions were pretty positive after a few hours of play, and I'm keen to dig in and really learn the ins and outs of Saber's 4v1 horror title, y'know, before everyone else gets too good and I'm frequently laid in a heap on the forest floor.

Aside from that, I've been back on Black Ops Cold War to be honest, as developer Treyarch just added the classic 'Jungle' map into multiplayer. This one's been round the block a few times, but sniping from that rocky overhang just never gets old...

Enjoy your weekend guys!
