We don't usually get a great indication of what's coming to Xbox Game Pass until Microsoft formally announces (at least) two batches each month, but Xbox Game Pass in May 2022 is already looking fairly stacked in mid-April.

As you can see from the table below, the big highlight so far is Sniper Elite 5, which is launching day one with Xbox Game Pass on May 26th, as is every game on the list so far - the likes of Trek to Yomi, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising and Pac-Man Museum+ are all day one games for the service, with likely quite a few more to be announced.

Here's what we know about Xbox Game Pass in May 2022 to date (updated as of April 20th):

Date Game Platform
May 3rd Loot River Console, TBD
May 5th Citizen Sleeper Console, TBD
May 5th Trek to Yomi Console, PC, Cloud
May 10th Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising Console, TBD
May 24th Hardspace: Shipbreaker PC
May 26th Sniper Elite 5 Console, PC, TBD
May 27th Pac-Man Museum+ Console, PC, TBD

There was supposed to be another game on the list for May in the form of Two Point Campus, but unfortunately that's since been pushed back to August. It seems there's a small chance A Plague Tale: Requiem could end up shadow dropping on Xbox Game Pass in May 2022 too, but it's probably not worth getting your hopes up.

Don't forget that we've still got a lot to look forward to in April 2022 as well! Lost in Random is coming to Game Pass via EA Play this Thursday, former PlayStation exclusive Bugsnax arrives on April 28th, 2D action-RPG Unsouled also drops on April 28th, and Microsoft has still got another batch of April's games to announce next week.

It's a great time to be an Xbox owner, and a great time to be subscribed to Xbox Game Pass!
