Devolver Digital's Trek to Yomi was revealed earlier this week, ironically, at PlayStation's State of Play event. However, on close inspection, the game's story trailer says this one is hitting Xbox Game Pass.
Trek to Yomi is a stylish 2D adventure that follow's main character Hiroki's journey through hell and back. It looks like you'll be fighting ghoulish foes through ancient temples and quaint woodland that, well, isn't that quaint given the number of bad dudes hanging about. Here's a brief story rundown:
As a vow to his dying Master, the young swordsman Hiroki is sworn to protect his town and the people he loves against all threats. Faced with tragedy and bound to duty, the lone samurai must voyage beyond life and death to confront himself and decide his path forward.
Trek to Yomi contains a combat system built on "traditional weapons of the samurai", and it'll feature a classic soundtrack and visual style to evoke the "spirit of classic samurai film". This one launches Spring 2022 on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Yea saw this. Playstation showed it off in the showcase and then it’s coming to Gamepass day one. Thanks for bringing it to my attention Sony! Looks very cool.

Was hoping to see this on Xbox but with gamepass it’s even better.

@Nic-Noc20th-C then you should get a PS5 an get Ghost of Tsushima. That’s incredible, the Mongol invasion back in the 1400’s i think it was. Samurai v Mongol, Samurai hugely outnumbered! Incredible game!!

I've watched videos of this amazing game. Unfortunately i have limited time to play everything so i'll stick with Xbox and switch for now.
I dunno, the state of play trailer had Playstation logo at the beginning and only showed PS4/PS5 at the end. So it must be PS exclusive...
@Trmn8r They (Playstation) are only going to show their platform. Doesn't mean it's exclusive to them. Just like the Cowabunga Collection. It's on all platforms, but if Playstation is showing the trailer...it will only show the PS logo. No different than if Xbox showed the trailer and would only show the Xbox logos. Same with Nintendo.
@Trmn8r it’s not exclusive. The Ninja Turtles game on State of Play is also coming to Xbox.

I’m not being funny but Xbox do the same and only advertise a game as coming to Xbox. Why is everything a console war. They are bits of plastic. Buy it or don’t buy it. Don’t be silly enough to feel like it’s a team activity. They a massive multinationals they just want your money.
