We don't have license keys on console games. I suppose there is some unique identifier on each disc the system could read and record though. It's just a patent but there are more questions than answers right now.

At least it's just online achievements. Sucks for some I know but does not affect me personally.

I really like the art style, both for gameplay and the cut scenes.

I think NFTs in general are viewed as a bad idea, not just games. If that is the public perception game companies will have a hard time convincing anyone this is good for their customers. Do they really know if anyone will actually want to resell their digital items when they are done playing? I have no idea but I'm sure people that are into that part of it might answer.

I played his games on Sega Genesis before getting into watching the sport. I loved listening to his commentary on game day. There were a lot of announcers that tried to imitate him later on but he is the original. God bless him, may he rest in peace.

These jokers may think they're anonymous and can say whatever they want to people, but Microsoft knows their real names and can ban them. Bet that's a never ending battle with online play.

I know Fable 3 is divisive but I still consider it a good Fable game. That was over 10 years ago now. Too long to wait for another true Fable game. Looking forward to what Playground Games does with the IP.

I'm glad there's a good option for people that want an Xbox this holiday. Being able to walk in a store and see them on shelves is wonderful.

But I wish retailers would just let us order an Xbox Series X and other hard to find consoles like an open pre-order. There used to be this thing called a "back order" for an item that wasn't in stock but would be eventually. You could order it and just wait.

I think people can get bored in any video game, but racing games can especially be this way I think since so much of it is the same, driving.

OK, I wasn't really worried about it not being fixed. But begs the question, why not fix the game then release it around the end of the year?

@Alduin Sony has some PS3 and PS2 titles available via PS Now or for single purchase. But I admit that Xbox has done a way better job though, especially having 600 Xbox 360 games available to play. And the Xbox 360 itself can play nearly all of the OG Xbox library.

This is great. There are some gems on this list and also some strange ones. I would be lying if I didn't want more seeing as this is the end. But I'll take it.

I know it's sad when you get a game at launch and run into issues, but this is not abnormal and could have been worse given they had to rush to meet a date. We will probably never get the missing licensed music but they should fix most of the issues over time.

Fingers crossed. There are plenty of 360 games already, could be more, but the OG Xbox is too light.

Based on Now In Stock the Microsoft store is the only place that ever has stock online. If I can find one it will be very tempting even though I really don't feel ready to jump into a new generation yet. Too much backlog. Either way I hope people get them and not bots.

There are only a few Original Xbox games available, even though there was so many on playable on the 360. Microsoft has near infinite money so they should be able to pay for licensing if that's the issue. But who outside of older gamers like me really will go back and play 20 year old games?

A regular edition is all I want and can't even find that anywhere still. Some day I am sure.

And...you can like more than one console. They are all good in different ways, different games. PC games of course too.

You hit the nail on the head with this string of words, "unnecessary pressure on the industry". Let the console makers and publishers release their presentations or trailers when they want to. They often then have center stage.
