helix was destined to fail when sony pulled the plug on future pc ports. that what excited xbox gamers in the first place to be able to play new sony games on project helix now it appears that even steam wont be on the helix..

we had games like elden ring tears of the kingdom baldur's gate 3 astrobot which had much higher metacritic scores then 90..

previous years we had gamescores of 94 96 a few times..

it has so far been a down year for metacritic game score in 2026 highest rated score is 90 is very low. compared to previous years

even though the remake call of duty blacks ops2 is crappy.. call of duty has always sold great on the ps.

push square gave it a 4 score..

the helix will not sell enough systems at it's 1.000 dollar plus price to make a dent even if it came with a physical drive..

very much doubt these independent companies will survive unless they bring out lots of games and are successful...

i give the xbox showcase a 6 of 10 score. it is great if you have gamepass you get a 10 score..

i been watching the xbox showcase and so far you can call it a first person and gamepass showcase..

A lot of it seems to stem from an uninterrupted gameplay clip first shared by Christina Tasty, which shows an on-rails running sequence with button prompts, which the player purposely fails.

There’s no consequence for missing a prompt; the scene keeps going regardless.

prices will eventually come down in a few years..

xbox is never going to compete in consoles a lot of xbox gamers are pc gamers these days they are interchangeable..

nintendo first party games usually are at full price 5 years later unless their is a special time like mario day and those games always sell...

seems this question was aimed at xbox gamers certainly nintendo and sony gamers buy games at full price..

@Coletrain got to broaden your horizons their is the switch and ps we all knew many of those games that people paid on those other consoles that came to gamepass were great..all you have to do is read the other sites game reviews or watch youtubers who cover video games.

exclusivity did not sell consoles for xbox x/s the genie has been let out of the bottle.gamepass is the issue.. many xbox gamers are used to playing games on game pass and not buying xbox games at full price..

do not think xbox can afford to be exclusive anymore. it's biggest fan base for some games is on the ps5 now..

starfield was never going to sell well on the ps5 due to it's lukewarm reception i am surprised it even sold that much to be honest..

recent leaks put the ps6 price at $699.

hades 2 came out on switch last september..

even xbox youtubers are disappointed in this presentation..

i cant imagine a console at the rumored price is going to sell at all except for the youtubers who have xbox channels and those who can afford to spend between 1000 and 1500 dollars..
