As we mentioned a few hours ago, Microsoft has officially set up a new XBOX Player Voice feedback system over on the MS Feedback Portal website, providing an all-in-one destination for Xbox fans to share their requests.
So, how is the top 10 shaping up after day one of feedback? Well, based on the upvotes that have been received so far, we can see that the return of "exclusives" is sitting in first place, closely followed by a call for more backwards compatible games and a request to make online multiplayer totally free on consoles.
Here's a look at the full top 10 at the time of writing:
- Exclusives
- Backwards Compatibility
- Make Online Multiplayer Free To Access
- Achievements (more improvements)
- Xbox Game Pass Family Plan
- Allow Disc-Based Games With Project Helix
- Return Of Xbox Avatars
- HDR Dashboard
- Lower The Price Of The Systems
- Allow Xbox To Record Voice Chat In Clips On My Console

If we go beyond the top 10, there are also some interesting suggestions such as bringing back Snap Mode from the early Xbox One days, starting up the FPS Boost program again, and adding music to dynamic backgrounds.
While loads of these are clearly popular ideas, it's worth noting that Xbox isn't promising anything here — they specifically state that some feedback "may take longer to implement or may not be something we can act on". We assume it's much easier to add something like an HDR dashboard than lowering the price of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S or making online multiplayer completely free, for example!
By all means head over to the official Xbox Player Voice portal and submit your feedback, and then please let us know in the comments below what you've voted for. It'll be interesting to see how this top 10 develops over time!
