Fable and Forza for me please, though I’d really like the latter on switch 2 to play on the move!

If reports are to be believed last years COD underperformed especially compared to battlefield. Having such a big release underperform would make a big dent in the figures on its own.

It’s still surprising though considering their ps5 games seemingly doing well, especially Forza.

Looked great on my pro with the performance/quality combined option!

Weird they didn’t recognise that version considering they did all other models.

Beast of reincarnation was my top pick, really looking forward to seeing more and getting my hands on it. No doubt I’ll be getting FH6 and Fable too though!

All this talk of forza coming to PlayStation but I really want it on switch 2 to play on the go. Come on MS you’re leaving more money on the table here, if you’re multiplat you might as well go the whole way.

Is a shame the bitmap brothers pack isn’t the Amiga games and is instead console ports which aren’t as good!

Other rumours suggest the game was delayed so it could release on ps5 same day as Xbox. May be true…

Loved the OG Xbox but damn I forgot how big that original controller was. They must’ve developed it around Dwayne’s hands!

@Balaam_ yes I agree. It’s like they’re self congratulating themselves and saying “we’re doing you all a favour” when the reality is they just want more sales.

It’s not the hardware, more the developers optimisation.

There’s no excuse for this and you only have to look at how smooth cyberpunk is on switch 2 which is much more demanding than Skyrim.

@GameOverScreen I don’t want to sway your decision but it is good and also cheap. You’d have it in time for Christmas!

This was part of their china hero project so partly funded by Sony and possibly the reason it’s making it to market at all. Is no real surprise there’s an exclusivity deal really.

@BrownOwl the npc chat isn’t that frequent and is only at the beginning of the game. You can also turn the audio off if you prefer. Is a shame if that’s the reason you’re holding off on it as it’s brilliant.

It doesn’t really remind me of halo at all but more like prime 1.

Is a superb game so far, really enjoying it!

Not much free time this weekend but the time I do get will be prime 4. Loving it so far and still trying to get over how smooth 120fps is on a switch!

If they haven’t even got a permit yet I’d be thinking this will be for their next hardware. It takes a lot of time to set up tooling and production lines etc and I doubt they’d set up for X/S with new hardware a few years out.

But then what do I know!?

I’d actually love a proper remaster of 3 for new gen consoles. That was the peak for me and I’m bored of new entries disappointing in comparison so why not just remake the best?!

Crazy that gta5 is in there and we’re all these years later and it’s still in many worldwide top 10’s!

On topic PGR was easily my favourite game at launch but there were so many great games over this generation. The 360 was the pinnacle of Xbox in my opinion and the executive team wiped the floor with the current execs.

Well done to the critics for choosing DK which is my goty so far.

At the time I couldn’t believe they dropped this series and still can’t even today. Loved these games!

One of the worst acquisitions ever made in my opinion for the price they paid. Thought they were crazy at the time but feel it was a knee-jerk reaction to MS’s deals at the time.

Nice! 360 was peak Xbox in my opinion. Used to enjoy listening to Larry on his podcast back in the day…

@Kaloudz yes that’s what he’s saying. If someone comes in and funds the project and it ends up costing 100m, it’s only cost them 50m as the first 50m has already been funded by MS.

I have too many games and not enough time as it is with my current setup so adding more isn’t something I’m up for at this stage.

The hardware looks good but I’m not a fan of windows OS.

@Banjo- it’s just like how the news is always negative, rarely positive.

It’s not just the rumours they’re dealing with but their confirmed decisions as well - gamepass price increases, cancelled games, developer layoffs, Costco/Eb games pulling support, target/walmart potentially pulling support and so on…

Unsurprisingly some are losing confidence and mixed or little communication isn’t helping. They seem all over the place at the moment.

@RiverGenie wrong in what regard? There has been mass layoffs and price increases. Maybe you can link me to the explanations you are referring to?

As Lina Khan of the FTC put it…

Seems she was right all along and the gamepass changes are just more proof of that.

This reminds me of the Xbox one launch period where MS pushed me to PlayStation after their bad choices and policies. I didn’t want to support them then even though I loved the OG Xbox and 360.

I feel they’re having that same effect now on their current user base for many of the same reasons plus job layoffs, game cancellations, price increases and the rest. It’s a shame but they’re making their own bed so they have to lay in it.

What a crock of crap. How about you don’t add more “value” and in other words the money you spent on adding that value you just deduct from the sub price? People don’t want more value, they want cheaper prices or those they already had. Don’t add more to charge more ffs.
