With just over a week to go until the release of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, Ubisoft has pulled back the curtain today on the Xbox Series X and S versions of the game, confirming the all-important resolution & FPS details.
As shared by Access The Animus on social media, we can see in the image below that AC Black Flag Resynced runs at 1620p upscaled on Xbox Series S with a 30FPS frame rate and a "standard" use of ray tracing.
The Xbox Series X version has three different options, spanning 30FPS, 40FPS and 60FPS. All of these are 2160p (4K) upscaled, and both the balanced and fidelity modes feature an "extended" level of ray tracing.
In case you can't read the small text, the two methods of ray tracing are described as the following:
Standard: Used to compute global illumination for diffuse lighting throughout the game world.
Extended: Full support to compute global illumination for diffuse lighting and reflective surfaces throughout the game world.
Unfortunately, we don't have any actual footage of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions to view just yet, but we're presuming that will come very soon - it's likely drop at the same time as the reviews next week.
We'll keep an eye on that, but for now, we'll leave you with some new-ish gameplay footage down below.
