@sjbsixpack yeah but I am thinking more software wise? PS5 software hasn't sold incredibly in Japan. COD Vanguard hit Japan's charts and that was the PS4 VERSION.
Basically, Scott Cawthon made a game called Chipper & Sons Lumber Co. However many people complained that the characters look very scary. Cawthon was initially discouraged from this and wanted to quit game development but instead used the feed back and created Five Night's at Freddy's.
Why is it so popular (especially the amount of likes and hype for FNAF Security Breach which I am personally pretty hyped for) you asked? One of the reasons is because it is very simple and easy to play but it is hard to master. As each night progresses, the animatronics get even more aggressive and you have to start rethinking many strategies.
When the first game came out in 2014, it released to little fanfare at the time. However let's play gamers such as Markiplier made the game incredibly popular. In fact one of the biggest advantages this franchise has is the lore. The lore is very complicated and there are so many theories that people have (and the story is STILL HARD TO SOLVE). You also got people, like Matpat making videos on FNAF theories.
FNAF also had the most amount of sequels in like a few years which is another reason it got popular
Ofc this will be on other platforms. Its timed console exclusive to PS5 and PS4 (it will also be on PC at launch). After 3 months, it will come to Xbox One, Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch (probably)
Maybe it could be that Ubisoft developed Star Wars game. I think it is time for someone else to handle Star Wars games for some time. We need a break from EA Star Wars games.
Jedi Fallen Order 2 would be cool but I would personally want to see Star Wars games being developed by someone else other than EA
@FriendlyOctopus yes Sony has congratulated the launch of the Xbox Series consoles and the launch of the Nintendo Switch. Xbox did the same for PlayStation and also Switch. And Nintendo has congratulated both Sony and Microsoft on launching their newer consoles
I don’t see it happening for a good long while it at all even. But I am glad that some people in this website are very understanding and reasonable and not complaining like crazy unlike people on Twitter
@BlueOcean well Dracula X is more of a reimagining of Rondo of Blood.
When comparing Rondo to Dracula X, it’s painfully clear that Rondo is in fact superior considering the advance collection is using the SNES version of Dracula X. Dracula X is still not bad though
This will be a collection I will be picking up on Switch. It just feels right playing the 4 Castlevania games that originally released on Nintendo hardware on Nintendo Switch
@GunValkyrie it is the same price as the Anniversary Collection. So yeah, $19.99.
Also it not only contains the three GBA games but also the SNEA Dracula X game
If you want proof that it is coming out on the day it was announced, watch the Nintendo Direct. There is only an Xbox One version but you can play it in Series X/S via backwards compatibility
The Castlevania Advance Collection is in fact real and was just announced in the Nintendo Direct today. It is also releasing today on Nintendo Switch (ofc), PC, Xbox One, and PS4
Maybe Nintendo could reveal this at a direct cause the GBA castlevania games apart from SOTN and Rondo of Blood are some of the best castlevania games. gba is Nintendo hardware so maybe it will be announced at that event someday. It will be multiplatform of course.
This year is truly a year of Metroidvanias. We got the release of Axiom Verge 2 and other Metroidvanias games have come out during the years. Castlevania brought back Grimorie of Souls and also we have that rumored GBA collection for all platforms. And ofc Metroid Dread which is coming out next month
@Xiovanni its like saying that since the original Resident Evil game came out on the Playstation (PS1), the remake should come to Playstation as well (PS2) at launch, but NO, Nintendo Gamecube got the remake and Playstation wouldn't get the remake until 2015
@Jaxx420 yeah. But I am surprised is that NintendoLife did not mention any glitches in Sonic Colors Ultimate for Switch version. They said they did not encounter anything.
Also it is worth noting that these people who were able to access it early probably did not get the day 1 patch. And also worth nothing that the PS4 and Xbox One have some glitches as well
@Bmartin001 I also heard some of the bugs were just from an emulator. Also I did hear some glitches for the Xbox and PlayStation versions as well.
And you know what’s weird about the switch glitches is that the NintendoLife review DID NOT say any glitches in the Switch version. They said they didn’t encounter anything.
And another 8. Same as NintendoLife but Pushsquare gave it a 6
my problem with this is that the PlayStation and Nintendo fanbase SPECIFICALLY PlayStation is that they would complain about the new Quake being exclusive to Xbox.
Also this just shows that if this comes, then PlayStation fans want more Bethesda games which are new and that isn’t gonna happen
@Magabro you have no idea how many people wanted Metroid updates. It’s been like 19 years since the last 2D Metroid came out. People wanted Prime 4 updates and Nintendo says they are hard at work at it. But Nintendo was nice enough to give us a 2D Metroid to hold us over.
It has been too long ever since we saw a NEW Metroid game. Samus return on 3DS was just a remake.
People were also begging for botw 2 updates and Nintendo did that. They would rather have some more footage of the game rather than nothing for botw 2

Also who knows what will happen
Re: Xbox 20th Anniversary: Which Xbox Generation Has Been The Best?
Clearly it is Xbox 360 but Series X and Series S are also becoming the best Xbox generation soon and will be better than the 360
Re: Xbox Series X|S Appears To Have Already Surpassed Xbox One's Lifetime Sales In Japan
@blinx01 never will they uproot Nintendo. But Microsoft could catch up to Sony though because Sony isn’t interested in Japan anymore
Re: Random: Xbox Jokingly Casts Chris Pratt As Iconic Halo Character
I do like Chris Pratt movies.I loved Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World the most
Re: Minecraft Fans Complain About The State Of The Game On Xbox
Well, I played Minecraft on my friend’s Xbox One (Bedrock Edition) and it kept black screening a lot.
Well, I have Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch ( and I had a lot of fun with it) and it works perfectly fine
Re: These Ten Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass Today (October 31)
@Tasuki well its kinda of a long story
Basically, Scott Cawthon made a game called Chipper & Sons Lumber Co. However many people complained that the characters look very scary. Cawthon was initially discouraged from this and wanted to quit game development but instead used the feed back and created Five Night's at Freddy's.

Re: Pick One: Which Of These Horror Franchises Is Your Favourite?
@Krysus Alien is a movie franchise. This list contains games that are strictly FROM vide games only. No video games with licenses from existing IPs
Re: FNAF Security Breach Will Likely Be On Xbox, But It's A Timed Exclusive At Launch

Re: Japan Is Now Xbox's Fastest Growing Market Worldwide, Confirms Exec
@dmcc0 well they also like cheaper and smaller consoles and the Switch and Xbox Series S both fit that

Re: Forza Horizon 5 Looks 'Very Good' On Xbox One, Enthuses Playground Games
But it will be 30 fps on Xbox One then right?
Re: Brace Yourself, The GTA Trilogy Remaster Could Be Pretty Expensive
@Spaceman-Spiff they also made it limited time and they got a bunch of sales from that as well
Re: Bethesda & id Software Congratulate Nintendo On Metroid Dread's Release With DOOM Artwork

Re: Xbox Joins In On #ThankYouSakurai Smash Bros. Ultimate Celebrations
So Microsoft has,
Dragonborne Mii Costume, Doom Slayer Mii costume, the Fallout boy costume( I think), Banjo, and Steve/Alex in smash.
They have a lot of good representation in smash bros
Re: Resident Evil: Welcome To Racoon City's First Trailer Is Finally Here
Saw it and I liked it. Way more horror and less action.
Unlike the Anderson movies
Re: Xbox Players Are Reporting Graphical Issues With Battlefield 2042
Well
It is called Beta for a reason

Re: Surprise! Castlevania Advance Collection Is Now Available On Xbox
@BlueOcean yeah it would
Re: Star Wars 1313
sad that this got cancelled
Re: Surprise! Castlevania Advance Collection Is Now Available On Xbox
@BlueOcean no problem, you are welcome by the way

@Ralizah one day SOTN will be on Switch. One day. They could just port the mobile version of the game

The Castlevania Advance Collection is in fact real and was just announced in the Nintendo Direct today. It is also releasing today on Nintendo Switch (ofc), PC, Xbox One, and PS4
Re: Castlevania Advance Collection Has Been Rated For Xbox
@The_New_Butler I would buy it on Switch
Re: Castlevania Advance Collection Has Been Rated For Xbox
Got some good news. Ratings like these are almost always real. I meant that the game does exist. It’s only a matter time that Konami announces it.
It could be in the rumored Nintendo Direct. It could be at TGS OR on September 26th which is Castlevania’s 35th anniversary
Re: Castlevania Advance Collection Has Been Rated For Xbox

Re: Castlevania Advance Collection Has Been Rated For Xbox
@Royalblues isn’t Dawn of sorrow a DS game. It would be difficult to put it on a single screen. Not impossible but difficult
Re: Project Oxide Is Reportedly An Xbox Strategy Title In Early Development
@Chaudy it will eventually. Just give it time
Re: A Knights Of The Old Republic Remake Is Coming, But Not For Xbox... Yet
@Originut yeah but
It’s also coming to PC. UNCHARTED ON PC

@Hardcore_Holly well it is Andromeda but you don’t really need to know what exactly happened in there. I believe
Re: Rumoured Quake Remaster Rated For Xbox One, Series X, Series S
my problem with this is that the PlayStation and Nintendo fanbase SPECIFICALLY PlayStation is that they would complain about the new Quake being exclusive to Xbox.

Re: It's Official, A Dead Space Remake Is Coming To Xbox Series X & Series S
Nice. I will probably get this when I build my gaming PC.
Once i build my gaming PC, I will probably get the original DS game
Re: EA Confirms Cross-Play And Cross-Progression For Battlefield 2042
“Last gen and current gen can’t play together????”
Fair enough, I suppose. Xbox one and PS4 versions will have 64 player count and smaller map sizes
Re: Phil Spencer Praises PS5 DualSense, Says There's More Work To Do With The Xbox Controller
It’s not a good job from Sony if their Dualsense controller drifts a lot like Nintendo joy cons
Re: Rumour: Warner Bros Interested In Selling TT Games, NetherRealm
@FatalBubbles it won’t. If Netherrealm is bought by Microsoft, it can’t be exclusive as EVO is owned by Sony so it should also come to Sony platforms.
Also I can’t say for sure but ignoring Nintendo platforms is also not a good idea. Mainly because the Lego games and MK11 sold very well on switch
Re: Dev Criticises Sony’s Handing Of Indie Games, Says He’d Love To Get His Titles On Xbox Game Pass
@Chaudy meanwhile, Microsoft, Nintendo and PC are pro indie
Re: Dev Criticises Sony’s Handing Of Indie Games, Says He’d Love To Get His Titles On Xbox Game Pass
And now we know the main reason why most indie games launch on either PC, Xbox and Nintendo platforms but not PlayStation
Re: Bethesda's Pete Hines Apologises To Fans Upset By Starfield Xbox Exclusivity
The man does not need to apologize at all. As a guy who plays Nintendo a lot, I am happy that Xbox users get to enjoy such a wonderful game.
As for PlayStation users who are complaining, grow up and deal with it.
You want Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 and the new Arkane game on PlayStation?
Put Spider-Man 2018, God of War, and the Last of Us on Xbox then
Re: Woah, Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water Is Coming To Xbox This Year
@BlueOcean idk man. At this point, silent hill is a lost cause. No hope for a revival or even a port of the game
Re: Woah, Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water Is Coming To Xbox This Year
@LightningLeader we need everyone who is on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox consoles, or PlayStation consoles to buy this game.
Show support for Project Zero and maybe KT and maybe even Nintendo will re release some more of the games.
But if there is to be a new game, I doubt it will be multi platform as Nintendo still part owns this series
Re: Woah, Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water Is Coming To Xbox This Year
@BlueOcean if Konami ever decides to make it happen
Re: Reaction: This Year's Shaky E3 Was Held Up By Xbox And Nintendo
@Magabro you have no idea how many people wanted Metroid updates. It’s been like 19 years since the last 2D Metroid came out. People wanted Prime 4 updates and Nintendo says they are hard at work at it. But Nintendo was nice enough to give us a 2D Metroid to hold us over.

People were also begging for botw 2 updates and Nintendo did that. They would rather have some more footage of the game rather than nothing for botw 2
Re: Woah, Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water Is Coming To Xbox This Year
@BlueOcean yeah, I am gonna get it on switch eventually.
I sense the silent hill fan base is upset and mad rn.
The new photo mode is like the one from Village
Re: Lovely Stuff, Hades Will Target 4K, 60FPS On Xbox Series X|S
That’s cool that the series s can get 4K 60 FPS.
Xbox One and PS4 versions are gonna be the same as the switch version when docked. When docked, the switch also hits 1080p 60 FPS
Re: Woah, Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water Is Coming To Xbox This Year
@BlueOcean perhaps that is true
But if there were newer games in the series, I think those new games will be switch exclusive but maybe multi platform later on.
It’s up to KT and Nintendo.
But the series is back. That is all it matters. Yes it is a 2014 Wii U port, but no one bought the Wii U so it’s new for a lot of people.
Now here is hoping Silent Hill makes a return as well
