Re: 'SNK Vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos' Is Back, But There's No Sign Of An Xbox Release

@Nic-Noc20th-C only the Wii U and Virtua Boy as someone said.

The next Nintendo console could be a fail, you’re right about that. But they said the same thing for the Switch too so let’s also remember that.

So yeah, who knows. If Nintendō plays their cards right, next console will be a success for them. If they don’t play it right, it probably won’t be success.

At this point, you need to get used to this. Games like these are skipping simply because its not worth it. Xbox has the lowest userbase compared to PS, PC, and Nintendo which have the highest userbases of all. If its gonna keep continuing, Xbox will eventually continue to see less of these types of games on their platform. Games skip Nintendo mainly because of lower power but they will almost most certainly be put on to the next Nintendo console which will be more powerful than the Switch.

If this game is running on MT Framework, then that is a whole different issue since it is not supported on Xbox Series and doesn't support Xbox One anymore.

Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures Dev Gives Non-Answer For Lack Of Xbox Version

@PsBoxSwitchOwner It is because MLB forced Sony to go multiplatform. That is why they did it.

Regarding Lego Horizon, I'm sure Sony would like to have kept it exclusive BUT the reason why it is coming to Switch is most likely because Lego FORCED Sony to put it on Switch because Lego games sell well on Switch which Lego knows hence why the game is coming on Switch.

Re: Marvel Vs. Capcom Fan Starts Petition To Bring New Collection To Xbox

I thought the reason it wasn’t ported to Xbox was because of the whole engine issue. If that’s the case, then MS should help them out. But I’m not sure why Capcom would drop support for MT Framework for Xbox when the engine still supports PS4 though.

Edit: as @Neverwild stated, it was Microsoft that dropped support for it not Capcom. Go complain to MS instead.

If it is the case of poor sales on Xbox, that also makes sense. Fighting games have a big community on PlayStation hence why it released there. And Capcom would be dumb to not release it on PC because so many people are on PC so for more money, the game is on PC. Retro releases and collections sell well on Switch for the most part so that’s why it’s on Switch. I guess if it is the case of low sales on the previous collection, then I can see why Capcom didn’t port it.

Either way, I wish the petition and people petitioning for it good luck. Petitions could work after all. They did a petition to bring Burnout Paradise to Switch and it worked. So maybe it will work for Marvel Vs Capcom too.

Re: Xbox Set To Miss Out On Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection

@Savage_Joe exactly.

Regarding this collection, fighting games have a big audience on PlayStation hence the release there. And so many people play on PC so ofc it will release on PC.

Lots of people who have a Switch would buy collections and retro games so hence it will release on Switch too.

@Savage_Joe
Not exactly. If that were the case, why were Resident Evil, DMC, and hell even Monster Hunter released on Xbox?

Certain Capcom franchises will do better in West than in Japan and vice versa.

Something like Resident Evil will be popular in West thus come to Xbox

But something like Ace Attorney will be more popular in Japan thus likely no Xbox port.

Re: Reaction: Xbox & Nintendo Continue To Deliver With Major Summer Showcases

@Ralizah also I don’t understand Sony’s strategy for PC games. Like wait a few years and then port it? Or like have the first game on PC and get the sequel on PS5???

I personally think this will backfire. PC gamers can just wait. They have so many other games to play as well. Spider Man 2 will come to PC eventually and Sony can just port other games to PC to tide PC gamers over.
