Is it still the awful series s versions of games that are only being streamed to you on it...... not at 4K, with horrendous input lag ..... and terrible long queues.... none of which are problems on Nvidia or PlayStation Cloud gaming?

Hahaha WOW. How would that even be worth the money to port? NOBODY is buying Avowed lol. There are things that 20 year old Oblivion did that this game can't manage in its static, people frozen in one spot, boring world........... and people give out about TES' engine and capabilities.
Obsidian have such a knack for mediocrity lately. I say lately but mediocre, unimpressive, short, Avowed took SIX YEARS TO MAKE.

@EvenStephen7 Exactly. I bet the news is simply that all 30 or so Xbox original games will be added to game pass ultimate, like they all should be already. But it will be after another price hike by late 2026, probably multiple price hikes, so it will sting more regardless.

Yep and this is why Forza Horizon 6 had to be officially confirmed going to PS5 at its announcement. Would anybody be shocked if Xbox changed their minds next week, for the 5 millionth time and bumped up the PS5 release date from a few weeks to simply day one with the PC version?

Console sales matter. They mattered in 1995 and they matter in 2025 and no mental gymnastics from an Xbox fanboy Youtube channel is ever going to change that.

So Sony should do what Xbox did this gen and NOT add the 800 PSVR1 games that run on PS5 including the PS Move controller (like the way they cut off Kinect support so it can't even play all of Xbone's games)??? Why should Sony do that???

So long as they never turn off the those servers. Shame they couldn't even add full BC with the previous console yet again since Kinect 2.0 has zero support on series s/x. Its still something Xbox has never pulled off to date.

Maybe get AI to fire and replace the Xbox over paid execs like slimy Phil that have utterly destroyed the Xbox brand, bringing it to its knees.

@Amin1998 Remember 2 days before the reveal he tweeted about being excited for everyone to see it (deleted tweet now).

The gameplay reveal went on to be the biggest downfall of the franchise (it was delayed only less than 2 werks later) and it has yet to recover from it. How does he keep doing that with his games, especially when he set up the studio and was in charge 7 years before that point? People say he is a gamer but he is tone deaf if he thought that abysmal looking reveal would impress anybody.

And remember everyone, any second or cent spent on development for Infinite is resources taken from other projects, ANY other projects much like the problem with Fallout 76's hemorrhaging continued existence.

No I think the series s version will continue to cause all the problems it is and they will pull a Larian with it and have to make slimy Phil scramble and make a decision again.

So no, it won't be on XBOX this time this year.

Nintendo pushed out a Switch 2.............because its time for them to put out a new console. A reminder, Switch 1 sales are still annihilating Xbox console sales.
How would Xbox be pushing out a new "console" in the same way like Switch 2? Pushing it out to double/triple sales of series s and x which still is very little???

Going by reviews it looks like yet another meh game by Obsidian barely better than the 1st.

And it is definitely not worth the hilarious €90 they tried to charge for it, it's barely worth €60 lol.

@HeavyHoggJP But it doesn't get them within a year. This time last year Starfield wasn't on any other tier but Ultimate. Right now Hellblade 2, released nearly a year and a half ago, is not on anything but Ultimate.

Imagine waiting the entire gen on the promise in 2020 that Fable was coming so you should buy a series x and s. And game pass, or the game pass "tier" that Fable will only be available on now, the most expensive one, is 30 quid a month now............... before Fable even got a release date to this day.

This is why I was laughing at people saying "But but but but the roadmap". What about the roadmap? What does that even matter today? Look at what Xbox has been doing to itself the past decade under slimy Phil.

The ONLY consistent master plan Xbox initiated the past decade......is just how slow they are taking this band aid off so that their hardcore fans can easily digest all these horrendous decisions one week at a time......and then calm down their followers, the Cope Eastwoods and OhNoItsXbot people out there.

This time last year in 2024 FF7 Remake being shadow dropped at TGS was going to win everything. It didn't even make it in 2025 lol. Of course, the parameters shifted instantly again.

Slimy Phil, the destroyer of Xbox consoles, is going to show his hated face. There is one definite thing that is going to happen, you can have that one.

@Ricky-Spanish Every Gears game literally copy and pasted animations directly from Gear 1 and 2 to each game. Even the brand new enemy in Gears 4 and 5 uses the exact same animations. Literally 1 to 1, even a maimed enemy crawling away uses the exact same 13 year old last gen animation in Grars 5.

@Kaloudz The showcase for once made sense. If there are NO release dates for Everwild, State of Decay 3, Fable, Perfect Dark after half a decade already......... then for goodness sake, don't show them. What would be the point???

I agree with it launching elsewhere too though. But why would Gears E Day launching on a new PC "Xbox" thingy be important when its available to play, the same day, on normal PCs and specialised other consoles with unique architecture like PS5 and actual Xbox consoles too like the series consoles?

Glad I didn't buy it but then I would never pay over a tenner for a game that is available digital only regardless. Game would have sold even better if it had a physical release.

The millions of people that abandoned Xbox the past 15 years want te classic good Halo games and nothing more. I don't, Bungie is overated and trash. I didn't like the cartoony Halo games 2 decades ago and I don't now either. Halo Infinite is a perfect example of a dead failure Live Service game. Xbox does them too.

@NeoRatt They are a 3rd party publisher. Why would a 3rd party publisher cannibalise their own sales?

They are doing this because after 4 and a half years, series x hasn't even passed 7 million sales, it isnt from the goodness of their hearts, I'm afraid.
