There's always a bit of a lull after the annual Xbox Games Showcase takes place in June, but we won't be waiting around long for a big presence from Xbox - as Gamescom 2025 will be taking place in late August.
It's been announced today that Xbox will indeed be involved in Gamescom from August 20th to August 24th, although specific details are apparently going to be announced "soon" rather than right now.
Here's the tweet that confirms Xbox's attendance at the event in Germany this August:
Now, if we go back to the last couple of years, we know that Xbox hasn't had a major showcase at Gamescom for quite a while, but instead has chosen to host daily livestreams where more minor reveals have trickled out over the week.
There's also Geoff Keighley's Gamescom Opening Night Live which always kicks off the event, and as usual we can expect to hear about lots of upcoming Xbox games at that show as well.
Stay tuned to Pure Xbox for more details on Xbox's presence at Gamescom 2025 as soon as we get them, and as you'd expect, we'll be covering all the major shows and reveals so you don't miss a thing when the European event begins.
