@Coletrain As if its really that expensive to port a PC game to Xbox that you are already porting on PS and Switch 2. No, this sounds like another closet Sony paid exclusivity deal.

I you want better market conditions, launch games when they are in a completed state and on all platforms so you can actually market it. You cut out your own feet from under you when you leave your game in early access on PC exclusively for over a year.

Man, this is freaking sucks! Was looking forward to this one. Xbox's touted "hands off" approach to their devs is backfiring. Devs need deadlines and a kick in the pants sometimes when they are stuck in development hell. It's time to ratchet down on these devs that are taking too long to make games. Perfect Dark was announced in 2020 for Pete's sake!

So, it'll be a PC then. I actually think it's the best direction for them considering they are no longer making anything exclusive anymore.

Series S always getting crapped on, yet this will be ported to Switch 2, which will be even harder. 30fps is totally fine for a slower paced melee game like this anyways. Bet they do hit 60fps tho.

I think the bigger problem is that they launched their game at a time with a plethora of better options released. Lots of people still playing heavier hitters like Clair Obscur, Oblivion, Doom etc...

Nintendo set the precedent with Switch 2 and the rest followed suit. Everyone was just waiting for one of the big companies to do it.

Yet Clair Obscur is selling like bonkers. The cream always rises to the top. Nobody is entitled to their own special day to sell their game.

I feel bad that this game got undercut by Oblivion remaster, but I plan on playing this first. Besides, the remaster sounds like it needs some patches as expected.

I have a feeling I will be returning to this game in the future and actually enjoying it. I think the anticipation (mine included) for this was just way too high and we were sold a lot more than what we got. But I think on its own merit, it'll end up being a good game to those who play it after the outrage finally settles and people revisit it.
