If you've been craving a new Telltale Games-style narrative adventure on Xbox, you've probably had Dispatch in your sights for a while - a new PC and PS5 title that's become a Game of the Year contender since its release in October.

Today, it's surprisingly been revealed for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 with a January 29th, 2026 release date, suggesting PlayStation's console exclusivity period was only three months (or it didn't have an exclusivity window at all).

Our sister site Nintendo Life has been covering this already today:

The game itself sees you trying to manage a superhero dispatch centre, "balancing office politics, personal relationships, and your own quest to become a hero". The Steam version has over 83,000 user reviews that are averaging an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating, while our sister site Push Square gave it a "Great" 8/10 review.

At the time of writing there's no word on an Xbox release for Dispatch, but the game's developer has already mentioned that they're "looking into additional platforms" — Switch was one of them, and we're hoping Xbox is another.

We'll obviously let you know if we hear about an Xbox release, and hopefully it's not too far down the line.
