When we first highlighted all the categories and nominations for the Golden Joystick Awards 2025 back in early October, we mentioned how Xbox was up for various awards but not for Game of the Year.
Well, that's all changed as of this week! Despite not being included in either the PC Game of the Year or Console Game of the Year categories, Xbox's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has suddenly appeared in the Ultimate Game of the Year nominations list, alongside 11 other games determined to be the best releases of the past 12 months.
Here's the full list of nominations for the Ultimate Game of the Year at the Golden Joysticks 2025:

- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- Death Stranding 2: On The Beach
- Donkey Kong Bananza
- Ghost of Yotei
- Hades 2
- Hollow Knight: Silksong
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
- PEAK
- Silent Hill F
- Split Fiction
If you're interested in voting for Indiana Jones or anything else, you can do so over on the official Golden Joystick Awards website, with votes ending for the Ultimate Game of the Year category on November 7th. All the winners will then be announced at an awards ceremony taking place in London on November 20th.
Of course, Indiana Jones isn't technically a 2025 release, but still manages to make the list because of the November cut-off date - the game first made its debut for Xbox and PC on December 9th of 2024.
