
We've heard a lot about how Battlefield 6 and Black Ops 7 have been performing in the sales department already, and now Circana has some fresh data on how both titan FPS titles have been getting on commercially in the US.
First off, despite Black Ops 7 dropping off from last year's Black Ops 6, it was still the best-selling game in the region during its launch month of November. Circana's Mat Piscatella says this is the "18th consecutive year a Call of Duty franchise release has been the best-selling title in its launch month" since 2008's World at War.
However, despite another winning launch month for Call of Duty, EA's Battlefield 6 is still the best-selling game in the US for 2025 overall. Of course, BF6 did launch a good month or so before Black Ops 7, and it remains to be seen how both titles will land sales wise by the end of the month - and indeed the end of 2025.
