Returning to exclusives would be a death wish. The only reason they went multiplatform in the first place is because there user base is floundering and continues to be. Between this and the majority of the users being on GP, they would practically be giving the games away for free, or to little sales at all if this move was ever made. They need the sales from PC/PS5/Switch to survive.

The one thing Phill said years ago thats so true is that it doesnt matter what great exclusives they have. Xbox lost the most important generation (the last) because everyone built up their digital libraries then, and people aren't going to move from those. I for one can speak on this. I used to own an Xbox and moved over during the late PS3 era, and have amassed thousands of games since. Theirs nothing that could make me leave that platform outside of losing my account.

As someone that has dabbled in all three consoles throughout my life. Their is no way I would trust a word MS ever says as far as strategy and consoles go..

I feel like from the title changes that they are trying to kill off the Xbox brand. Wouldn't be surprised if this next console didn't have Xbox in the name.

Even as a primary PS gamer ive always kind of liked Phil. This genuinely makes me sad.

I always love how you guys cover these smaller events. Really discover games i would have never know about otherwise.

My prediction is Sony will announce Starfield at their State of Play in a few weeks.

I haven't liked SE's practices for years. Ive boycotted buying there games a long time ago.

I think people are reading to far into this. I do believe more PS developed games will come to Xbox, but not how Xbox is porting games to PS. You will probably see there live service games end up on here and whatever Lego Horizon type games in the future on Switch.

I think all the porting going on is great. Now Nintendo needs to come out of there archaic hole.

As slimy as MS is. Im glad I stopped supporting them after the 360.

I believe this is coming. They need a new person to be the face of this multiplatform approach thats not connected to Xbox's past.

If you're on GP you better enjoy it while it last. I give it two more years and multiple more layoffs to come before GP is double the price it is now with not even half the output it currently has. MS has no idea how to manage these acquisitions.

...and this is why the FTC fought so hard to stop the Xbox and ABK merger. MS is going to continue to cut these jobs on a rolling basis until these studios are a shell of their former selves.

I completely agree with him. Thats one of the reaspn I dont sub to GP. I dont have the time to play all these games and the ones I do id rather support the dev directly.

I wouldn't trust that next year is going to be any better. This year's wasn't terrible, but definitely not great..

This was nice looking, but looked boring. Whats the gameplay loop? Do you just walk around as lighthouse through pretty environments?

I was definitely disappointed. I thought I was watching SGF with how much 3rd party stuff was shown, and outside of Clockwork Revolution the 1st party showing was lame. And ending the show on COD...big disappointed. No wonder Aaron Greenberg said "temper your expectations". Id rate it a C overall.

No i will not be buying it.

Will never buy that overpriced under powered system or its games and outdated accessories.

@jerrylongbones I'm sure they are coming. MS is just being smart and piecemealing them out. They can only release these games on Playstation once. So Gears and Halo will probably be one release at a time if I was to guess. Will be most profitable that way as well.

This will lead to internal re-evaluation for me as well. I'll never pay these prices. Ive got the patience of a saint. Either I'll play it years later on a deep discount or not at all.

I'm so glad I've amassed a serious backlog of hundreds of games over time. Because I'm covered for years and years of entertainment

Id love to be surprised with a Fable collection to hold us over until the new one releases.

Besides the obvious announced and rumored GOW collection. Id love to see a Fable collection to tie us over until the new one.

I wouldn't mind it. I think a collection similar to the one they gave Crash and Spyro would do this series good.
