Idk what it is, but the game looks dated in all the footage I've seen. The graphics are obviously a step up, but most everything I've seen looks like a game from 2012. Like an old Bethesda RPG. Very kind of jank and unimpactful.

Really wish they would put the Sega Genesis Collection on sale one more time before it's delisted.

@somnambulance Yea, but the issue here is the longevity of access to the content you have purchased. If we ever lose full access to the servers I might not ever buy a game digitally again.

@HonestHick I agree. I wish all these publishers would do this, and let what these companies offer on there platforms from a feature standpoint be the decision on what console you buy.

@HonestHick I didn't say they were leaving hardware, but they will be publishing 75% of there titles elsewhere within five years. They'll have a next gen console, but there will only be a few titles they keep exclusive.

Xbox will be an almost full blown publisher within the next five years.

@InvaderFromSpace I was just going to mention that he said the announcement was for Forza and missed on that one. I completely agree about Gears being a prequel and a perfect time to introduce a new audience. Same with Halo remaking the first one. Where the article fails to mention is this stemmed from another leaker named MAAG that said all these games were coming to Playstation. Then eXtas1s commented on it on X(Twitter).

He'll never live this down. Jim Ryan made a comment years ago about why would anyone want to play old games nowadays, and he heard about it till the day he retired.

Cronos and Mouse were the best things on display.

@cragis0001 Yea I see what you're are saying, but it was eventually going to go this way for one of them. It was never going to stay an almost 50/50 split like it was during the 360/PS3 era. MS was in this position at the beginning of last gen and was trying to push shady tactics with DRM, Kinect etc, and it cost them and they haven't been able to recover since. I do agree with you that it's a healthy market with both of them, but with last gen being the gen everyone built out there digital libraries. Whichever platform you were on then is probably the one you stick with and nothing MS does will ever change it. Even Phil said this when he was on XCast.

I don't see a problem with this. More people that get to play this franchise the better.

I could care less about BO6 coming to GamePass tbh. Probably wasn't going to play it either way.

At that price I'd rather just buy my games. I probably only get through five major games a year. I don't have time to play all that comes that comes to subscription services anyways.

I think this is MS trying to deflect that the Series S has slowed down this generation.

Well yall left out where he said "Xbox gamers can look forward to many games to launch exclusively on Xbox". That sounds like most are timed exclusives if you ask me.

I don't see any issue with this, and I understand why they're doing it.

Ubisoft should do like EA another even have one at this point.

I like how you guys cover all the games coming from all showcases here. Unlike on Push Square they just cherry pick titles they want to cover.

I thought it was good, but the budget really showed on the boss fights. They were all copy and paste.

Favorite is Heavenly Sword but that wasn't released on Xbox.

This all boils down to money. Xbox is a failing platform and they shot there selves in the foot by pushing for the acquisition of Bethesda and Activision. You pile the failure of Xbox with the combination of the acquisitions, then that equals Microsoft getting involved and pulling the strings. I think Phil thought MS would buy these companies and let Xbox keep losing money for 3 to 5 more years and hope that it would blossom into people flocking to Xbox. That's obviously not happening and now Phil is paying the price at the cost of Xbox becoming primarily a publisher in the future.

I'm gonna tell you what happened. They bought Bethesda and Activision and thought people would just leave other platforms in droves for Xbox and thats not what happened. People didn't care and stayed where they are. Now this is the results of that failure and the future 3rd party approach

The more moves Xbox makes the more it makes me glad I jumped ship after the 360 era.

Yes focus more on the single player games

This tells me that we won't be seeing MS being allowed to buy anymore publishers. They can't even keep the two they have fully employed.

@Kooky_Geezer Well the reason there doing this is because the loyal Xbox fans aren't enough anymore to sustain there business after these acquisitions. Hate to say it, but there not your buddy they are just a business that cares about making money.

Probably two of my most anticipated games coming. Especially with the pedigree of Remedy.

I think first party titles should be on as many platforms as possible.

@nomither6 I don't think that would happen. Because Sony needs Playstation to succeed to survive. Plus they make some of there biggest profits off of first party games. Because they get 100% of the sales revenue.
