Is it just me, or does the mother in RE9 look just like Laura from SH2? Cant wait for this game. Super excited for it. That and the FF7 trilogy (and Fatal Frame 2) will all be day one purchases for me.

Edit @FraserG is Fatal Frame 2 a fully fledged remake? If so, it'd be the first new installation for a long time right? I wonder how they freshen up the gameplay... FF is a great series but the last game that wasn't a remaster must have been years and years back, right?

I don't really dabble in this series but this one does looks pretty damn cool.

Day one for me. Any fan of survival horror needs to jump on this. It's the best in the series and very, very well done. Scary as hell too.

@masofdas I think SE has said multiple times now that they are no longer pursuing exclusivity, and the fact that they omitted an announcement of exclusivity here (as well as Sony) is telling enough on its own.

Certainly wouldn't say no to this, but isn't there an MM collection on other platforms yet to come to Xbox?...

Certainly happy for the fans of the series (I used to be a huge fan) but this just seems like nonsense to me. Destiny was peak when The Taken King released. It was downhill with Rise of Iron, and it hasn't quite made it back since.

Never really been into this series. It just comes across like comic-book Mad Max to me :/

I'd love it if Xbox released an Xbox OG Mini (mini consoles were quite big a few years back). That said, I'd jump at a Dreamcast Mini beforehand.

I'm still really on the fence with this. The other one that was announced at £1000 can forget about it, but this seems pretty budget and cool for what it does. That said, there's quite a few here that are against it - and their opinions are validated.

The Escapists TWD is surprisingly good. Doesn't play like a typical TE game. It's mission based and pretty cool. Easier to play than it looks.

@outswimmingtheflood I think the point is that quite a few folks will be playing this via GP (giving the game a new audience) and as such, it's neat to have a place to chatter for newcomers.

I haven't played yet, but I will no doubt get round to it when I've finished re-running E33.

I love simulators (specifically life-sims) but these sorts of sims just don't do it for me.

Yeah Bubsy is one hell of a particular series. It's rage inducing, but pretty rewarding if you put in the time. You just have to be very, very forgiving.

Dead Island 2 was amazing IMO. I would not scoff at a sequel. I preferred it over Dying Light.

Echoes of the Plum Grove looks like something I'd enjoy. Unrelated but I sure wish we hear something related to the Haunted Chocolatier next year :/

Said for a long time that FH in Tokyo / Japan would be amazing if they get a good mix of modern and cultural settings.

@Lup Thanks man. Yeah, VS was not my kinda game. I could not get behind the hype for that crap. I'll just hold out for So which will, fingers crossed, be next year O_o

Ah, see, this is the issues with DLC. They're short, and there's not enough space or time (for most) to pad out an interesting story. I'd have gone with a full on expansion that's campaign sized rather than this bite sized stuff, but that's just me. Saying that, I think it'd have been better to just work straight on a sequel. The core game is amazing.

I saw the thumbnail and was expecting to see something like MK from the Snes days. What I'm seeing here doesn't look very MK to me at all.

I hope they go back and do more IJ games. IJ was an amazing game and it'd be a huge shame to see a one and done sort of thing. Not only that, but there's more than enough Wolfenstein to go round. If they reboot it, then fine, but a sequel? Nah...

Way too flashy for me, but truthfully, the only zombie game I care about right now is SoD 3...

I'm sure they'll come in due course. Hell, they might even use a huge bulk of this to ramp up GP for next gen.

I'll get this later down the line. There's just too much gaming on my plate right now lol.

@GameOverScreen Nice. Yeah it will be interesting to see how Beast stacks up. In regards to Dead Island 2 though, it's the location and the tone that made that for me lol. Then again, I loved the OG 2 games.

Dead Island 2 is well worth a go IMO. It beats the hell out of Dying Light.

I think DLC for any game is pretty risky. It's hard for a dev to make a huge chunk of gameplay for a low priced return. May as well just move on to a sequel IMO.

I might pick up Bubsy just to see how I stack up. I remember playing the OG version and never getting past the first few levels lol.

It's never really interested me to be fair. I always saw this as lightning in a bottle. The first two games seemed to hit hard, but I don't think they'll ever get the same highs again.

@Deljo No no, I mean games in continuity. Sure, SH2 did great, but I would carefully assume that Bloober will focus on SH1 or SH3 next. If Konami pull this off, it could lead to more sequels, is what I meant.

Hard pass for me. It does absolutely nothing to entice me whatsoever.

Call of Duty could make a great movie IMO. I'd certainly prefer they take a leaf from Treyarch above all else, but even if they only use the title to sell tickets, if they do this right, it could be one hell of a good movie.

I'd love a remake of the first game. Hell, I'd take a HD Remaster of the first bunch of games... They were classic!

I mean, it's their property. They can do what they like with it... Why should we care for what happens to a dead IP?...

Folks can say what they want, but this is such a great time to be a gamer. Barriers coming down, compatibility on the rise, cross-integration growing strongly. This is amazing.

Some very solid games coming this month. Man, GP just keeps on giving!

It wont touch FH at all. That game is practically the only game of its kind on PS - and future FH games released on the platform (day one) will just print money for MS. Gears, as great as it is, is old. There's every chance people know how short and gritty it is, and just don't rush to grab it in favour of everything else that's on the market this year.

I'm looking forward to all of these, BUT, I just can't put down Expedition 33. I'll no doubt try OW2 to begin with, and then keeper.

Final Weapon? First I've heard of them.

Overall, not some bad scores at all.

Very happy with this. This could well be the game that puts the IP back on the map - in regards to continuity. I'm all here for it. Cant wait.

@Ricky-Spanish Have you ever seen the canon to Terminator (movies)? There's a video on YouTube going over it. Apparently every movie since 3 has spanned a whole new timeline that runs separately to T1/2 - though almost all of them share the future war O_o it's bloody mind boggling lol.

Eh I can live with that. Curious to see what comes to GP this month given that we've already had a good one with SS.
