@BAMozzy You're absolutely right. And I guess a lot can change between now and then. It's a bit of a shame we're still getting announcements for games years and years away (Cyberpunk and Witcher 4 as well as many others are examples as to why that's not a good thing) because it really does suck.

You're also right that it may be a next gen game. I guess one factor is how long this gen tethers to the next gen, because last gen seems joined at the hip with this gen - which I guess has its ups and downs, right?

There's some really good looking games here. Especially Moonlighter. I hope that isn't in EA for too long...

Good. Glad to hear it'll launch day one. I might get this one as it seems more aesthetically pleasing than the predecessor (for me at least).

I absolutely love what they're aiming for here. It's got a heavy sense of atmosphere and a ton of dread. This might just end up trumping 7 and 8, and I really enjoyed them.

It'll be interesting to see if Black Myth goes multiplat out the gate. All in all though, there's some stellar titles here. The standouts for me are Silent Hill and Resident Evil - as well as Moonlighter.

Routine also looks like it could be one hell of a good time, as does Swords of Legends. Either way, Game Pass has done very well here overall. Looking forward to the rest of the week

I'm intrigued by this. I absolutely love JC (The Thing and Vampires are some of the best movies going IMO) so if they nail the vibe here, it could be pretty big - for fans at least.

@RiverGenie There is no justice in the world if this doesn't come out with a remaster of the actual Fallout New Vegas game. It would literally print money for Microsoft on any platform they released it on.

Totally agree. If they do an Oblivion and release this near to, during, or near after the release of season 2, it's just going to snowball and make MS heaps! If I was them, I'd do exactly that. On topic of the show, I can't wait. Season 1 was amazing.

That's great news for Switch users. This is one of the best games (of its type) I've played in a while. It's the best thing to happen to the IP since the OG trilogy.

I absolutely loved the Lego Batman and TD Trilogy were the only Batman movies I enjoyed (aside the latest one - which I loved) so this is a yes from me!

I didn't play the first one. Was it any good in terms of difficulty and story? (I like fairly tough games as long as they're fair and not too punishing).

Oddly enough, I'm actually pretty stoked by that footage. I'll definitely be giving this one a whirl. It'd be rude not to on GP lol.

Said it a million times, Xbox are in this for the long haul and I think next gen is going to be absolutely defining and huge for them. I for one cannot wait.

Really looking forward to seeing this space grow as the next gen comes in. It's gunna be a solid way to play.

@abe_hikura 🤣🤣 Exactly right!! I loved Shenmue 1 and 2 and remember being blown away when playing them back in the day. For them to go two decades and pull that crap was disgusting. I'll play the rest of the saga when the saga (if the saga is ever) completed. Until then, I'm not playing a single minute.

@Questionable_Duck I'm almost certain that you could (I think it was GTA) load up the music on a radio in a car and select your own tunes from the HDD. I could be wrong.

@FraserG I get my events mixed up, but is there a chance we see some surprise reveals at GC? Would it be too bold to hope for SoD3 for instance? Or is GC more about going over things we already know are coming - with some minor surprises sprinkled in?

Also, is EGX not a thing anymore? O_o

@GuyinPA75 Fable aint cancelled. It's their next big thing. Fable hasn't had a troubled development unlike every other game you mentioned further up. I think Fable - coming from PG - is going to be absolutely outstanding. The question is how they deal with the humour but I have every faith in the dev.

@FarmDog08 I'd like to assume that it's somewhere near to 5 million. I would guess that at 5 million, they'd like to boast it. It'd be a little silly to boast 4 million after 3.3 so I'm guestimating close to 5 million. They deserve ever success IMO.

I know this was already spoken about in another thread, but that screen does not look rectangular it's amazing how a slight angle can alter perception.

@Lup Ah man E33 replaced FF7 as my fave game of all time - and FF7 took that spot for like nearly 30 years haha. I agree though bud, were aligned in a lot of the things we like. Soon as I get through 33 I'll let you know how I'm getting on brother.

Shenmue can kick rocks. I played 1 and 2, and for years we were told that it was a 3 part story - and when 3 is finally made, they don't even close the story...

Apparently now it's a 5 part story. I love the IP but that is a crappy way to treat the fans.

Sea of Stars was outstanding. I really hope they crack on with a sequel because the gameplay, the story, and the visuals on that, was amazing.

I think the problem isn't so much the machine(s), but the fact that last gen has tethered on to this gen for so long. That said, this is to be expected when we're moving to a more organic future where compatibility is key. I can't wait to see what comes next and I'll reiterate what I've always said on the matter - from the bits we've learned about the next Xbox so far, I think it's going to be a very defining moment for the brand.

I also think next gen onwards will be interesting given all the barrier removals (cross play, cross save, multi-plat movements etc...) I'm excited.

I fully understood your post, and I fully understood the excerpt I highlighted in my response to it. I've had plenty of issues in life my friend. Would I expect people that don't even know me to feel sorry for me? Not at all. Would it have made the slightest bit of difference if they did? Not at all.

It'd be very strange IMO if I loaded up my console and sat there feeling bad for people I've never met, rather than just play games. No need to get pressed about it bud. That's just how I feel, and I could stake my life that the vast majority of people feel or act the same way. The situation around layoffs is sad, sure, but it is what it is. Life goes on...

@Project13 Satya Nadella and his executives have shown they care about as much about Xbox gamers and their libraries as they do their employees and their mortgages. You don't matter, so best get used to that idea.

To be fair, I load up my games on an evening and don't think about Satya or his employees (or ex employees) for a single second. I boot up a game and I play it...

I also reckon it's a new controller with haptics and gyro, or at least one or the other. It'd be very anti-climactic for it just to be a reskinned controller lol. It's also interesting that this has popped up just as the design lab came back online. Perhaps MS is unveiling one too at GC? With the design lab taken offline to implement the change to their lineup?

@RZ-Atom Nothing wrong with that We're all allowed our own views. Yeah I haven't heard of a great deal of them either.

@RZ-Atom I'd strongly disagree. I think it's nice to see staff being transparent. That's just me though. That said, I don't think there was anything derogative about the comment - it's just that in comparison, a lot of the games in the list are (you could say) filler, to a degree?

I'm still not convinced about this one. I might get it in due course but from what I hear, it's not as good as the first two.
