FF16 is very tempting at that price. I just don't think it will do anu justice (for me) on the back of E33.

This is right up my street, and I'm keen to play it, but exclusive? What an odd game to make exclusive.

I'd actually (and I've said this before) like to see a different spin-off of the Forza franchise. Something akin to NFS. That said, we can safely assume this is FH6 - and if it's set in Japan and makes use of modern Japan and cultural Japan, it could be one of the best maps going. This will certainly be multiplat out the gate, and it will sell like crazy.

Never been a lover of Shmups. Hard pass. I just don't get the allure.

Glad this has come back, I never got the chance to try it the first go around, but with Silent Hill F on the horizon, it might be tough to squeeze it in.

No problem with this at all. It's the sort of game I'd envision being cross platform anyway. It's quite niche, no? The bigger the audience the better.

I'm surprised to see this reviewing so well. I was expecting 7s almost universally. I might actually pick this up.

On the back of Alien Earth (which is amazing) this was a wise move on the dev's part.

It's crazy to think back to when this first released. Four games, broken, bugged for a long time. It's sure come a long way.

Isn't Visions of Mana already in GP, or is that another Mana game? I was sure there were two Mana games in the service already. Either way, not a bad month at all. Not the strongest, but not too bad.

Three Fields Entertainment are overrated IMO. They're substandard if you ask me, and their games don't really do much that other games haven't already done before.

Dreamlight Valley is a good one. Not too drawn out and not too grindy.

Dude literally spearheaded a project that was drawn out, likely never hit a target goal, and cost a company hundreds of millions... That's not something I'd brag about on my resume :/

@Markatron84 Haha, spellcheck is the best isn't it? No there's no way to alter the window, but it's pretty forgiving in story mode. I think the latest update even extended the amount of time needed to react. Honestly though, you can complete the game without ever using it. The penalty isn't that big. You could just dodge instead, which is very, very easy to do. I hate parry systems (I hated and sucked at Sekiro) but in E33, it becomes second nature for even people like us.

@Markatron84 Dude!! I'm exactly the same with parrying but it's practically optional. I'll explain...

The game has some difficulty modes (story mode being the accessible mode). Story mode basically makes it easy but not handholding - I believe you can even change the difficulty at any time.

During a fight, you can evade an enemy attack by either dodging or parrying. Both are optional. If you dodge, you avoid damage. If you parry, you avoid damage and counter attack automatically. It's very forgiving though. You could take the hit and (in story mode) it wouldn't make much of a dent.

FF7 (OG) was my favourite game of all time until E33. It's honestly outstanding. It's only about 30 hours long. 50 hours with side content.

Eh, I don't mind these in the OG FF games for the simple reason of getting through long battles that were lengthy due to the technicalities of the times, but modern games? No. I personally think Expedition 33 did it better. This just seems like a lazy way to grant accessibility that essentially gives you a god mode.

It's the best console for its price, bar none. Series S takes a lot of crap, but it really is one hell of a mini beast! I don't regret my purchase whatsoever.

Haven't played a LEGO game in some time (the best was Pirates IMO) but this one I might just pick up.

It's Rockstar. Nothing is delay-free when it comes to them lol. That said, they should really (as a developer that can literally bring the industry to a standstill) announce these things ASAP so that other teams can better plan.

Nice to see some positivity for what many consider to be the ugly step child of the Xbox family lol. I've said it a thousand times, Series S is the best console for its price I've ever purchased.

Moonlighter had me massively excited and then I forgot it was for PC only for a while lol That to the side though, there's SO much going on in October for XGP that it's easy to overlook.

Curious so see how well The Beast does given that DL2 didn't get received quite as well as I imagine they hoped.

Downloaded Silksong now that I'm nearing the end of my E33 run for the second time, so I'll no doubt bounce on that.

@Jenkinss See, I liked Forsaken a lot, but it just felt like Cayde was used in such a way to interest people back. Like a huge wow-factor, if that makes sense?

E33 is GOTY. If that doesn't win at the awards, I'll be very confused lol.

Is it just me, or does the mother in RE9 look just like Laura from SH2? Cant wait for this game. Super excited for it. That and the FF7 trilogy (and Fatal Frame 2) will all be day one purchases for me.

Edit @FraserG is Fatal Frame 2 a fully fledged remake? If so, it'd be the first new installation for a long time right? I wonder how they freshen up the gameplay... FF is a great series but the last game that wasn't a remaster must have been years and years back, right?

I don't really dabble in this series but this one does looks pretty damn cool.

Day one for me. Any fan of survival horror needs to jump on this. It's the best in the series and very, very well done. Scary as hell too.

@masofdas I think SE has said multiple times now that they are no longer pursuing exclusivity, and the fact that they omitted an announcement of exclusivity here (as well as Sony) is telling enough on its own.

Certainly wouldn't say no to this, but isn't there an MM collection on other platforms yet to come to Xbox?...

Certainly happy for the fans of the series (I used to be a huge fan) but this just seems like nonsense to me. Destiny was peak when The Taken King released. It was downhill with Rise of Iron, and it hasn't quite made it back since.

Never really been into this series. It just comes across like comic-book Mad Max to me :/

I'd love it if Xbox released an Xbox OG Mini (mini consoles were quite big a few years back). That said, I'd jump at a Dreamcast Mini beforehand.

I'm still really on the fence with this. The other one that was announced at £1000 can forget about it, but this seems pretty budget and cool for what it does. That said, there's quite a few here that are against it - and their opinions are validated.
