Two Rayman Games Reportedly In The Works As Ubisoft Releases 'Special Message' On The Series

Back in May, we covered that work on a new AAA Rayman title had begun over at Ubisoft, and we have a couple of fresh bits of news to share with you today on the franchise's future.

First off, an official update on Rayman has been delivered by Ubisoft Montpellier, which we'll share with you down below. In short, to celebrate the mascot's 30th birthday, the team has reaffirmed that it's working on the future of Rayman - but to not expect any official news on the next game just yet.

However, the folks over at Insider Gaming have done some digging, unearthing information on what exactly Ubisoft is planning. Ubi is reportedly working first on a Rayman Remake, and if that does well β€” known internally as codename Steambot β€” then full production on Rayman 4 could be spun up afterwards - although the latter is just in the "preliminary plan" stage at the moment.

Lastly, the report adds that this first Rayman Remake project is targeting a late 2026 release, and is reportedly going "incredibly well" over at Ubisoft right now. We don't know that for sure as this is just reported information at the moment, but given Ubi's official message up above, here's hoping the future is bright for everyone's favourite blonde-haired Ubisoft mascot.

What do you reckon to all of this? Talk to us about your wishes for a new Rayman game down below.
