@Banjo- hating games based on publisher is such a weird thing. Glad I just get to enjoy whatever I want.

@Banjo- I would say Infinite, Halo 4, Halo 5 is how I would rank the 343 games. I really enjoyed Infinite and Halo 4, great games. Halo 5 I also enjoyed especially the MP, the campaign I enjoyed but it didn’t feel as fleshed out as Infinite and 4. Still I’ve never played a bad Halo game, the internet is just full of exaggerating negative Nancy’s lol

@Nintendo4Sonic I agree. The game was great. The post launch support not so much. Hopefully now that they are not using the Slipspace engine and they have gotten rid of a lot of the people making those not so great decisions. I am optimistic for Halo’s future.

@BaldB3lper78 that comment was for the person replying to my original comment saying they were wanting to save up for the next Xbox which, by reports, will be sporting a higher price tag. What you do with your money is no concern of mine.

@jesse_dylan it’s not coming until 2027 from the sounds of it. Just putting aside $10 a week would get you probably about where you would want. Would put you over $1,000 saved up for release.

I do hope the Xbox/PC Hybrid is true for the next Xbox hardware. It will be a day one buy for me. Unless the price is outrageous.

Would be really cool if they announced a new partnership with Romero to revive his game. Wishful thinking probably on my part though.

Outer Worlds 2 and Borderlands 4

This is a good way for Halo Studios to move forward. Focus on campaign while having a seperate team working on a continually evolving MP effectively separating the two games so each team can put 100% focus into each.

I look at it like this, Halo and even Gears are not going to generate the revenue they need to be successful on just the Xbox. They want these games to be huge hits and the only way it’s going to happen is by putting it on the platforms with the most users. Xbox lost the console war. 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s great so far. Better than the first and I loved that game. Improvements all around. Obsidian are a great developer.

@Fiendish-Beaver I meant more just for the developer side of Bethesda. Todd can oversee two teams I think for the main line games.

@Fiendish-Beaver wish they would create a second studio within Bethesda just to help push out more games.

Painkiller and The Outer Worlds 2 up next!

This is what I wanted to see. A powerful Console/PC hybrid. I don’t mind paying more for something that opens the floodgates but also comes with the convenience of being a console. Wonder if they will unveil it next year.

I just want them to release it next year at this point. Series X/S is dead in sales, they desperately need something to get some sort of excitement into the brand. Well until we all see the price anyways.

I don’t play Call of Duty, or Fortnite and the Ubisoft classics adds nothing I already don’t own that I was interested in. So really the price hike does nothing for me at all so I will move down a tier to Premium and buy the games I am wanting most, like Outer Worlds 2, and wait on the others to come to the sub that I am fine with waiting for, like Keeper and Ninja Gaiden 4. It sucks because Ultimate was such a great deal but oh well, most of the games I am playing haven’t even been GP games anyways (Borderlands 4, Dying Light The Beast, Metal Eden, Helldivers 2) and really out of all the games I was planning to get coming up here Outer Worlds 2 was the only GP game I was gong to play right off the bat. So no dramatics from me but it does suck to see the value in GPU diminish.

I have been a subscriber since the beginning of GP, I’ve always found value in it even during the early years when it was a lot of smaller indie games for the most part. It didn’t cost much and it was introducing me to new games I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. Now they are jacking the price too high and adding a bunch of old Ubisoft games that sell for $5 on sales to justify it? And Fortnite sub of some kind? Yea back down to the lowest tier for me so I can online game what a joke.

Oh that’s exciting. I like that it says projects. With an s. Maybe get to see this remaster and hear something about the new future game as well. I don’t expect to see much from it considering they would probably save that for a big show I’m sure but some news would be welcome.

@abe_hikura same. I tried playing Midnight Run without VR, it just doesn’t work. I’m sure Alien will be the same.

Dying Light The Beast and Borderlands 4

@Ricky-Spanish I could see motorcycles and really how cool would it be to have an Akira themed bike in this game. Be a good opportunity to introduce motorcycles.

I’m not a huge hand held gamer so this never appealed to me. But, I am very interested in how this could shape the next Xbox home consoles with them being more hybrid PC models.

I will grab it eventually my hands are full with Borderlands 4 and Dying Light The Beast right now.

What exactly is he proud of again? Wasting resources? It’s like starting a painting that took too long, never finished and has a ton of mistakes and being “well I’m proud of…. This.” And then throw it in storage unit to never be seen or heard of again. Makes no sense.

@Fiendish-Beaver oh yea, I loved it. Very Ghost in The Shell, Doom, Metroid inspired great gameplay and setting. I finished it and did some achievement hunting before hoping onto Borderlands 4. I highly recommend Metal Eden if you are a fan of shooters, I really hope that game does well.

I was leaning towards grabbing Cronos and Silent Hill f this month but opted out cause I have my hands full and next month is stacked as well. Can’t get em all I suppose. -_-

The Outer Worlds 2 is one of my most anticipated games of the year can’t wait! But also, Ninja Gaiden 4, Keeper and Bounty Star, very very solid month.

Helldivers 2 and Metal Eden!

Hell yea I am! Preordered, installed and ready to go! I absolutely love Borderlands. My crew is ready to go vault hunting!

I went with Metal Eden first. Borderlands 4 next week…. Cronos might be months away for me with the release slate coming

@FraserG I fear it’s going to get lost in the shuffle of larger titles being released this week. I just nabbed it because I do love those devs, Ruiner was fantastic.

What an awesome day. Gears on PS5, Helldivers 2 on Xbox and with a Halo warbond.

@Scummbuddy can’t pre install it but can pre load that little place holder that makes it install immediately when it’s available, maybe that is what they are talking about? I did the same.

I am playing Alien Rogue Incursion this weekend. Pretty sweet game. Nailed the Alien feel in VR. And fitting in some rounds of BF6 in of course

For long gaming nights it optimal.

So the achievement progress from the last Gears doesn’t transfer over? Cause I am always down for more Gears achievements

If they do have some surprise show ups I am hoping for E-Day and State of Decay 3 gameplay.
