One of this month's big releases that's slipping under the radar a little bit is Jurassic World Evolution 3, which was announced by Frontier Developments back in the summer. Yep, the team's dino-tastic park builder is available on Xbox today, which means we're just starting to see some early reviews trickle out for the Series X|S title.
We haven't had chance to get to this one here at Pure Xbox (busy month, as it turns out!), so we're just diving into these reviews ourselves to see what the deal is. Without further ado, here's what the critics are saying about Jurassic World Evolution 3 so far:
But Why Tho? (9.5/10)
"Jurassic World Evolution 3 is an astounding management sim and was released in a year with great games also coming out in the genre. The franchise it’s attached to is the cherry on top of what is both an approachable but deep game that always asks you to learn more, but in an accessible way. It’s hard to be both a great introductory game into management sims and also offer the die-hards a level of depth that doesn’t leave them wanting, but Jurassic World Evolution 3 does it perfectly."
DualShockers (9/10)
"Jurassic World Evolution 3 is without a doubt the absolute best dino park management game that has ever been made. Any of the issues or complaints I had from the first two games have either been improved on or completely eradicated. The campaign and challenge modes are worth checking out, but you'll find yourself absolutely absorbed by building and maintaining your park in the sandbox mode. It's a magnificent blend of nostalgia and contemporary game design, and is well worth dumping hours of your life into."
Push Square (8/10)
"Jurassic World Evolution 3 is exactly what it needs to be. There's new additions to the formula set by its predecessors that enhance the experience rather than detract from it, and it accentuates what the series did well before to new heights. Dinosaurs are the name of the game, and whether you're here to help create dino families or if you just want to see a giant lizard eating the clientele, this third instalment delivers."
