Got Total Chaos installed and ready for tonight! Looks like a good time!

South of Midnight was solid. But I think out of the XGS games Doom The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2 are far superior. Loved those games and definitely top my top of 2025 games. Also Arc Raiders getting snubbed, but that is expected because solely MP games always do, much like Helldivers 2 last year.

There are a few PC games I would love to see finally come to Xbox. Namely Witchfire, Ripout and Nightingale. Or even a solid release date on Once Human. That Xbox/PC hybrid console can’t come soon enough 😅

Silent Hill f is 20% off

50/50 chance. I have my fingers crossed it actually releases next year but who knows at this point.

Hopefully some good Gamepass games announcements. Really think adding Wildgate to the service would help that game survive.

@Fiendish-Beaver I could see them porting more games over in the future. Especially if the next Xbox is just going to be a PC hybrid that runs their games anyways. What would even be the point of keeping their games off a platform that would already have access. As of right now I don’t see Sony porting more games over though but the future is going to be shaped very, very differently. We are already starting to see it take shape with the ROG Ally and the Steam Machine.

Love Helldivers and love seeing how big it has become. Arrowhead are such great devs as well.

It’s intriguing but I want my Xbox library and Gamepass so waiting it out to see what Xbox announces. Hopefully this speeds up Xbox’s announcement plans.

Still on Ultimate. I still get a lot of value out of it even when I have to start paying $30, which will be months from now.

@Tasuki I have loved every Borderlands game, definitely one of the best franchises going. Borderlands 3 is really good, even with the weaker main villians. Borderlands 4 I just finished the main campaign on and loved it. Still have lots to go back and do. Are you going to play through the Pre sequel or Wonderlands? Both of those are fun side games as well. Even Tales From the Borderlands I enjoyed.

I wonder if Rockstar is finding out that their game is not going to run well on current gen consoles, much like CP2077 did with Xbox One and PS4.

Really looking forward to the new update on Fallout 76 and hopefully an update on Starfield DLC next year. If the Fallout 3 remake rumors are true that would be great as well.

50+ games in a week. People wonder why so many games flop, the market is totally over saturated.

@brettvsgodzilla we just finished our first 3 hrs into Voidtrain and we are really liking it. We haven’t unlocked much but have done a few outposts and areas. The revolver you get at the beginning is definitely not the greatest but we just built our armory so hopefully get some new guns going on our next outing. Cool premise, adds their own twist to the whole survival/crafting genre.

@Weebleman yea headphones, late at night. Was one of my favorite games of 2024.

@Tasuki I love Borderlands and really all the DLCs for the games are very solid! Happy to see others enjoying the franchise

The Outer Worlds 2 and some Arc Raiders

Well, rather than be all doom and gloom like others. I am excited for the next MP Halo game. I enjoyed a lot of time with Infinite, it wasn’t perfect especially with getting stuff out in time but they picked it up the last couple years after getting Bonnie and crew out. Onto the next!

As long as Gears doesn’t get delayed!!!

There has never been a bad Halo game. Halo 4, for me, was a solid 10/10.

I am so damn excited for a new Gears next year! Been way too long of a wait. Hopefully Gears 6 isn’t far behind E-Day!

I have a bold prediction for their release schedule next year.

Halo Campaign Evolved - March/April
Forza Horizon 6 - May/June
Clockwork Revolution - September
State of Decay 3 - September/October
Fable - October/November
Call of Duty - October/ November
Gears E-Day - November/December

If they can make that happen I would be a very happy camper.

It’s crazy seeing some people meltdown over on PushSquare over this. Like it’s going to kill Sony to have games on more platforms. People are still going to buy PlayStations especially if they are already locked into the ecosystem and it sounds like it will be much cheaper than the next Xbox/PC hybrid. If anything I see PlayStation making more money by expanding.

@Fiendish-Beaver Wild. I’ve bought, 11 games day 1 so far this year that I can think of. I’ve played through them all or am still actively playing them. This month I got nothing to buy though, December is Metroid Prime 4 though. I have so many games on backlog on Gamepass alone I going to try to refrain from buying games as much as possible for the next couple months.

@Fishmasterflex96 yea, I very rarely agree with all these different award shows, ceremonies or whatever they call them. Same goes for other media like movies, shows and music. But it is nice to see Indy make the list, I played it late last year and loved it.

Out of all of those I would give it to Indy. Wish Doom The Dark Ages or The Outer Worlds 2 would have made the list though.

Oh man I would be very, very excited to see Condemned come back! Those games were fantastic.

Voidtrain looks very promising.

I am loving it! I am already planning a second playthrough with different skills/traits. An easy 10/10.

I am excited for Halo Campaign Evolved. But I do hope they show Halo 7 next year.

Finished the campaign on Borderlands 4 but still finishing up some of the extras, side missions and end game stuff. But most of my time this weekend is going into the excellent Outer Worlds 2.

@DeadSpace Konami definitely mishandled it for a while there but not as badly as EA. Now they have released 2 great Silent Hill games in 2 years meanwhile and there is another movie coming out. Where as Dead Space has been one remake and then them saying it didn’t do well enough so the series gets to rot again for the next decade. Pretty crappy of EA but at least we got Cronos.

@DeadSpace Silent Hill is beating out Resident Evil and Dead Space over on the poll at IGN rn. I do think RE is the most popular of the 3 and Silent Hill after it and than Dead Space but only because how EA has mishandled Dead Space over the years.

@Kezelpaso which is kind of crazy to say if you have followed the changes the game has gone through from a looter shooter to an extraction shooter.

@BAMozzy I don’t think it will matter in the near future as Xbox hardware moves more into the PC realm.

The Outer Worlds 2 hands down. It’s my game of the year for sure, absolutely love the game

@themightyant that’s where I always come back to. People have already, for the most part, chosen their platforms and a lot of people are not going to buy two identical consoles for a few games. Now if they would eat money for a couple years and made all games (besides COD because contracts) exclusive this year being very solid and next year looking ever better. I would be curious if it would start to turn heads and how much money they would be eating in the end just to get more hardware out there.

I’m not a fan of exclusives. But there is a side of me that wonders, what it would have looked like this year if Doom, Outer Worlds, Avowed, South of Midnight, Keeper, Ninja Gaiden 4, Oblivion Remastered had ALL been exclusive to Xbox and Xbox Series X was at the same price point as PS5, if it would have moved the needle at all.

@Kezelpaso I just checked the store and I can view and install games. Haven’t tried to purchase anything yet though. Installed Halls of Torment off Gamepass to check.

I haven’t had any issues on Series X.

I am a shooter guy so I want to see this game come to fruition. Hopefully somebody picks it up.

@Kaloudz I am very excited for this console as well. I’m a pretty diehard Xbox guy as well. I like their games and their hardware. Big fan of Gamepass and throwing in Steam and other storefronts, getting rid of paid online play and getting some extra horsepower will all be worth the price. I am optimistic but it’s a long wait.

Aphelion, Routine, Awaysis look super promising.

Thought it was a solid B. A lot of goodies coming to Gamepass!
