Xbox Journalist Says Microsoft Has Another Showcase Planned For November 2025

This week, we have an ID@Xbox showcase confirmed for Tuesday, October 28th - but that may not be the final Xbox showcase for 2025, looking at a new report.

According to Windows Central's Jez Corden, Microsoft has an Xbox Partner Preview event in line for next month. Corden says that the show is planned for "sometime in November" and was "recently finalized" over at Xbox HQ.

"We're exclusively revealing via trusted sources that Microsoft has an Xbox Partner Preview showcase slated for some time in November, which I understand was recently finalized. This showcase will focus on third-party titles from Microsoft's publishing partners of all shapes and sizes, and will feature almost entirely (if not actually entirely) Xbox Play Anywhere titles."

As you can see in the above quote there, Corden believes this particular showcase will "focus on third-party titles of all shapes and sizes" - rather than the smaller indie games expected to be present during this week's event. It looks like Xbox Play Anywhere will also be a major focus, with Corden hinting that pretty much everything at the show should be XPA compatible.

We'll keep an eye on this one then as we move into November, but it's looking like it could be a busy few months for Xbox showcases - with Developer Direct also expect in January. For now, we'll link to our story on the October indie showcase down below - and you can expect to see coverage from that one on the site in the coming days!
