In a new blog post titled 'Road to HaloWC 2025', the newly-rebranded Halo Studios has confirmed that it will once again talk about future projects during its World Championship event next month.
The team hinted at this back in June when it said it was "looking forward to continuing the conversation" at the event, and now it's been confirmed that future Halo projects will be discussed both on the main stage and during a "deep dive" panel at the World Championship.
"Back in June we let the community know that we’d be continuing the conversation from last year’s HaloWC and the “A New Dawn” video and sharing more about what we’ve been working on. Like last year we’ll be on the Main Stage to talk about it but this year we’ve also got a “deep dive” panel planned for the Community Stage that you won’t want to miss.
Both the segment on the Main Stage and the panel on the Community Stage will be going down early Friday afternoon on October 24 at HaloWC. Make sure you’re there early so you don’t miss a second! After the Charlotte Major in less than two weeks we’ll be sharing the full schedule for HaloWC so you know exactly when and where to tune in."
As mentioned in the blog post, if you remember, the whole Halo Studios 'New Dawn' rebrand happened during this event last year, and it came as a bit of a surprise to Xbox fans around the world. We're not exactly sure we'll get quite as much information this time around, but we are hoping to maybe get a hint at how the next Halo game is taking shape.
Of course, we may also see something on this much-rumoured Combat Evolved remake we keep hearing about nowadays. That one's not been confirmed at all yet, but given Halo Studios is working on multiple projects and Phil Spencer hinted at one of those coming in 2026, we can only imagine that'd be this Halo remake; to coincide with the series' 25th anniversary.
