I probably won't play either, but the premise of 1000 certainly sounds interesting...

1000X resist got such glowing praise from the Noclip folks on their end of year podcasts - Im definitely keen to play that at some point

It sounds mental - and the type of game that a lot of people wouldn't buy but will now try because of GP.

It's just that I have so many games to be getting on with, @ElectricWizard. I buy a lot of games, and have a truly enormous amount of games that I own, but have not played. I have over 1600 games that I have bought in my digital library, and to my immense shame, I would estimate that I have not played half of them, and probably half of those I bought at full price too...

Yes, @ILuvGames, they say that the first step to recovery is to acknowledge the problem. I think I can say that I have done that, but whether I can stop buying games is another matter. I am genuinely trying to buy fewer games, and am succeeding to some extent, but still I find that I have bought games this years that I am still to play.

As an example, these are the games that released this year, that I have bought this year, having pre-ordered each of them, but not yet played:

The First Berzerker: Khazan Deluxe Edition
The Talos Principle: Reawakened
Death Stranding 2 Collector's Edition
Borderlands 4 Ultimate Edition

Silent Hill f

I bought each and every one of them with the best of intentions of playing them pretty soon after purchase (well, maybe not Borderlands 4, which I decided to wait for all the DLC for). However, because I am always playing something else that I have recently bought, I just cannot find the time.

I have also bought another 7 AAA games by way of pre-order, which I have completed, and am also part way through The Outer Worlds 2 (which I also bought).

Anyway, I like to think that I am singlehandedly keeping the games industry in business... 😂

@Fiendish-Beaver Wild. I’ve bought, 11 games day 1 so far this year that I can think of. I’ve played through them all or am still actively playing them. This month I got nothing to buy though, December is Metroid Prime 4 though. I have so many games on backlog on Gamepass alone I going to try to refrain from buying games as much as possible for the next couple months.
