Poll: Which Was Your Favourite Xbox Game Pass Title From October 2025?

The Outer Worlds 2 hands down. It’s my game of the year for sure, absolutely love the game

My wife and I put 18 hours into PowerWash Simulator 2 over the weekend. It's dangerous

I'm too far behind to say. Just started Keeper, then onto Ninja Gaiden, then Outer Worlds 2.

But for now... GLORY TO BALLBYLON.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, thanks to U+. Amazing game.

Outer Worlds 2 for me for two reasons, firstly, it is an absolutely superb game, and secondly, it's the only game from that list that I have played this month*, though even then I bought it for the Xbox, rather than played it on Game Pass. That does still count, doesn't it... 😂

*Also, I have played both Hogwarts Legacy and Evil West before when they first released. Both excellent games, it's just been ages since I played them...

The Outer Worlds 2. Completed my first play through and have plans for at least two more with different builds / faction choices. Then I have two story dlc to look forward to as well in the future.

That said I am also enjoying Powerwash Sim 2. This game just tickles the be chill and happy part of my brain so its a nice change of pace.

Ninja Gaiden 4 but Outer Worlds 2 a close second. That may change as I play OW2 longer.

I have bought all the gamepass games I wanted to play this month because I’m not renewing when it runs out in a few weeks. As much as I’m enjoying Outer worlds 2, Ball x Pit is my favourite game out of that list. It’s this year’s Balatro…pure addictive pick up and play gameplay loop.

Only played the casting of Frank Stone,and since I have never played dead by Daylight it was just a boring supermassive game, the cast of character is so bad that I wish they would die,.not scary and boring dialogue.

I only played Keeper and Ball x Pit. I did not like Ball x Pit at all. Keeper was a fun title that I 100%, so Keeper is my choice.

Wow, @RiverGenie! How on Earth have you already completed one playthrough? I am 20 hours in, exploring slowly as I go, and having to pick the enemies off really carefully. I don't know how many planets there are as I am still on the first one!

I'm playing on Very Hard, and frequently getting my butt kicked and having to restart a battle, which may go some way to explaining my slow progress.

What difficulty did you play on?

I am keen to go through it more than once, but once I'm done with Very Hard, I will be taking it down a notch for my future playthroughs...

@Fiendish-Beaver First play through was just on normal but i will up the difficulty up for my future runs now I have an idea of what i am going to face.

Even on normal some of the boss fights were tough for me. A lot of that difficulty came from being a stealth melee build which is pretty op generally but in most boss fights you can't stealth them. Once the stealth advantage goes away things can get real dicey real quick.

My current idea for my very hard run is to try and do a pacifist run with a focus on talking my way through encounters or letting my companions do the dirty work when that isn't possible. Not sure if it will work but it will be fun to try.

For reference it took me just over 50 hours on normal. I know I missed stuff simply by not meeting certain skill checks or locking myself out of some faction stuff with the choices I made.

I won't tell you how many other places you will visit but you have a lot of fun ahead of you.

Hogwarts Legacy is the one I’m grinding for now; I haven’t tested the other games on the list yet, but next up will be Outer Worlds 2 and Ninja Gaiden 4, then a little Keeper on the side to relax a bit. I’ve got Game Pass Ultimate at a bargain price until 2027, but after that I’ll switch to PC Game Pass (and hopefully with a promo code)

Outerworlds 2 just so far with NG4 a close second.

That's cool, @RiverGenie. 50 hours is pretty good going seems as the game has not been out that long. I take it that, like me, you bought the Premium Edition?

I currently 22 hours in, but had to take it back an hour when I realised I was supposed to help a bunch of people, and not kill them! Wouldn't so bad but I had died over and over again trying to kill them all, and I was down to only a couple left when I realised my mistake, and had to take it back again... 😂

The difficulty you choose is always a personal preference, @OldGamer999. I like a challenge, and I'm a bit of a masochist, which is why I chose Very Hard. I always feel that playing a game on a harder difficulty adds a certain dimension to it wherein you have to be a little more cautious, plan and consider your actions.

That said, when I do my first run in a game like Gears of War, I always go in on the second hardest difficulty first, rather than straight in on Insane, because I know I am going to go through it at least twice. It's much the same with Outer Worlds 2 where there are so many choices and consequences that you need to go through the game more than once in order to see all there is to see.

Has to be said, I am thoroughly enjoying the game right now...

Ball x Pit. Absolute banger of a game. So addicting lol.

I acquired Halls of Torment outside of Game Pass for £9.99, which included some additional downloadable content. It resembles Vampire Survivors, but necessitates a slightly higher degree of strategic contemplation. The chance of death should you not concentrate is higher. Give it a go people.

@Fiendish-Beaver yup i jumped in with the premium edition and had nothing else planned for a few days so was able to put in the extra time.

Apparently you can still finish the game even if you become a murder hobo and slaughter everyone you meet so I wouldn't worry too much if you do that again.

I know I made some choices in my first run that in hindsight were not good ones and made some parts harder. Still actions & consequences are part of what I enjoy in these sort of games so being held accountable for those choices just adds to the fun.

Since I don't use GP Ultimate, it's only Ninja Gaiden 4 for me.

None of the listed ones as I don't use the service but I voted Ninja Gaiden 4 out of obligation.

I haven’t tried them all, but Ball X Pit is excellent, Breakout meets bullet hell.

BG2 was my favorite CRPG for over 20 years, but was finally surpassed. HOMM3 will probably never be surpassed, so it's got my vote.
