I've been playing Eternal Strands on Gamepass and Fuga 3 on Switch.
Both are great. Highly recommend Eternal Strands. Fuga 3 I love, but I would only recommend if you loved the first - it's basically more of the same

@FraserG if you were to rate it now what would you give it?
I am kind of tempted to buy it in the hope they have enough funds to keep going and fix it (not that my one buy will keep them going long!)

I feel like this gen didn't live up to it's potential yet.
Both Sony and Xbox haven't released enough (actually Xbox has done more in my opinion, but no absolutely must plays yet).

After Microsoft's huge buying spree, I was hoping to see more. It looks like we're starting to get there but it's not quite enough yet.
I personally feel like a new console generation even is 2 years is too soon. I think/hope for 2030 as a timing...

I want to know what doublefine are up to. Physchonauts 3 would be VERY welcome, but I also love to see their creativity.

As load of others have said - I have no issue with Microsoft doing multiplatform games.

But as a business model, I think they need to be REALLY clear what are the "sacred" Xbox IPs that will never be anywhere other than Xbox (and PC), and then everything else is case by case - and most should probably have an exclusivity window of a year or so, unless it's something like CoD which has very frequent releases

My biggest thing would be what's next from double fine.
Something really fun and new IP.
Gears 6 would also be Great (though i haven't played 5 yet)

Apparently I'm not eligible. No reasons why though

Gamepass - especially cloud on my phone
Backward compatibility
Excitement for future exclusive opportunities - hellblade, whatever double fine are up to etc

Yeah I think before this I would love zero, CV or even the original to be remade.
Plus let's give the Dino Crisis series some love please!

So assuming $10 a month. That's 8.3m subscribers needed to cover that cost. Pretty do-able.
What we don't see is how much everything else costs and also the lifetime spending of a gamepass user (as they also get other perks/discounts)

Lack of co-op is one of the main reasons I haven't gotten to Infinite yet. I mostly enjoy halo as a coop experience and it's such a shame they moved away from it

I really enjoyed it. Well worth giving it a go, especially if you have gamepass.
I think the first game was criminally underrated

My interest immediately diminished when I found out the focus was co-op. Hoping for couch co-op or a really good single player mode!

Fuga is a great game. Deserves so much more love than it got. I also think the description doesn't do it justice.
In what other game can you sacrifice a 4 year old child to become a weapon of mass destruction?

I'm hoping they add some of the features you mention are missing over time.
Plus would love to see some classic game gear
and missing megadrive games added as (free) DLC to sweeten the deal. That would really be amazing

I doubt there's room for more than one VR headset. I'd like Microsoft to stay out, focus on home consoles and occasionally dip their toes in with an exclusive experience (like psychonauts).

@ChopperCampbell yeah it's a bit of effort to do that but it is possible.
My main point is more that Microsoft doesn't put the same effort in for all countries and it's disappointing...

Well EA would have known that licencing means a game needs to sell more. That would have been obvious when they signed the deal.
Either speculation or a change in leadership at EA.

I think more that the last few Dice games have struggled and they don't want to risk it from a fan pov. Disney probably stopped it

I really want to get my hands on one. There's been none available in The Netherlands since launch unfortunately.
That said I do think we are still waiting for the exclusive games. It's starting to happen but I think next year will be truly telling!

I'm actually replaying Alan wake now. I expected it to have aged but it's still really fun.

I do think to get people onboard with a sequel it needs to actually be a remake as well. So Alan wake 1&2 in one game. Otherwise you miss so much story

Oh ffs! Just make a game and release it! I don't mind big meaty dlc, but small drops just mean I wait for a few years till it's "complete"

I know it's a rogue choice but I never got on with the main Halos that much. Reach was better, but ODST did something really different any I loved that. Probably the only person who will vote for it!

I think this is a good sign, but they do need to be careful of stifling creativity. Sometimes consumers think they want something but don't vote with their wallets, because they want something new.
