@FrenchVaniIIuxe I paid 899€ (same price as the older inferior asus handheld that nobody was crying about btw) and also got the "beta" of the best windows gaming experience so far which i enjoy way more than the overpraised steam os i had with my steam deck because I can finally play ALL my pc games and see all my installed games in one page just to click and play without changing staff, without 3rd party launchers without adding no steam games. Just like that. If thats the beta I cant wait for the complete product.

Steam released an other mid product after steam deck but it will be overpraised by steam funboys just like the steam deck... With that hardware its barely a 2K machine most likely a 1080p but with a price tag of 400-500$ it could be successful with casuals. I hope this will push microsoft to do better with windows, xbox full screen and their pricing but it could very much make Nadella cancel everything and put all the money for AI bs... Lets wait and see, I sure an not buying that unless its extremely cheap because even my laptop is about as powerful. I can just spend that money for an external gpu and make my xbox ally x a much better console than this.

@TheGameThrifter for starters understand that Microsoft is not the one selling them... Asus is the one selling those "consoles". With steam deck being the most popular and best selling pc handheld with about 5mil sales in almost 4 years if the xbox allys have sold even 1mil they are super successful. This is not a console or a regular pc. Its something extra, something portable that not everyone needs. Stop seeing sales as if they are regular consoles.

@fatpunkslim they can always start releasing them on their pc store day one and a year after on steam and epic as they do now

With Halo CE, Gears E-Day, FH6 and Fable what ever we haven't heard about yet coming next year I dont even care about GTA6! Its not like they re going to release all the games at the same date. Maybe they will protect the bigger ones by releasing them in a different month than GTA. Its clear that this year is going to be the best for xbox and all those "xbox is dead" guys will keep crying and keep trashing every game for no reason.

Whoever is in charge of gamepass deals really loves horror games

One more proof that customers aren't as clueless as some people want to believe... There is no reason to buy the white version instead of a legion go s or a z1 handheld other than the great ergonomics. Its not even a great upgrade for a steam deck user.

Wow so many games everyone already own or dont care about them....

1) Do we know the pricing in UK and Europe?
2) Any news about making cloud available in more countries because it still isn't available even in many EU countries and we keep paying the same price without it.
3) Unless you can get those 100$ just by casually playing the games you wana play the price is ridiculous... Well it is either way but it will be better if I know i have 100$ to buy my games.

I totally agree with the bad reviews... If it was a remaster of GW2, 3 or judgment I would be ok but GW1 not only have been remastered already, it's also the one that its gameplay didn't aged well at all. Both 2 and especially 3 and judgment are way more polished games that could keep up with today standards with just a remaster treatment.

So there are good reviews and there are the usual clowns reviews...

If an xbox user doesn't own a playstation yet they definitely wont buy one now over the pc hybrid that is coming next year or the pc xbox rog ally... They can either get some extra sales now or risk it and wait for them to come later

Cant wait for benchmarks and some reviews about the game mode like thing. I really want to buy it but only if it will be worth playing my games native. If not I can keep my steam deck with GFN and save 900€

It's XBOX PC now but it will be just XBOX in 2026 when the release the oem console...

I can't wait! All those people crying about the price either never really wanted one and looking for an excuse to downgrade the product or they have no idea about the hardware prices today. It's literally a new improved product at the same price as the older one.

All I wanted were the Final Fantasy games... But they took so long I got them all from steam

If they want 80€ for their game they better have 80€ worth of single player content...

I buy most of the games I am interested in when they are released. I don't wait for discounts or gamepass to include them. I do buy keys tho to save some money.

@SeaDaVie sorry I saw your comment and I thought you were compering ally z1e and ally x. No it's not just a refresh it is a bit more powerful and way more efficient so better battery life.

I wish they would bother bringing cloud gaming to the rest of the world too so I can stop paying for geforce now that I use mostly for gamepass games...

@SeaDaVie they are not the same... RAM is very important for pc handhelds because they also use it for VRAM. Ally X has 50% more RAM and it's better and more future proof.

So same price as Ally X even tho it's a new improved product. That's good news to me.

They showed us the game and gameplay last year just to cancel it... Ridiculous...

It feels like FM is done for after this... They just kept a team to keep the game running and they will stick with Horizon from now on...

I don't care about exclusives. If I wana play a ps exclusive I'll buy a ps or wait for the pc release. I play on xbox because it's the best platform. If they will also give me new hardware that can have the xbox experience with my steam library it will be the best console ever for me.

They should try adding more big 3rd party games tho... I also game on pc and always buy my games from xbox store if it's a play anywhere title

VRR and the lower price are way more important than having an oled screen imo...

It makes way more sense than supporting playstation...

I bought and played all persona games + Metaphor (spin offs included) except 1,2 and 4 after playing P3R with gamepass. The only reason I didn't play P4G is because of the rumors (I want to play the remake without knowing the story) and 1 and 2 because they are so outdated. Altus made a huge fun by putting P3R on gamepass. I don't even care if P4 remake is going to be on gamepass day one or ever, I will buy it day one!

Most likely yes. If it can play my xbox library I will buy it 100%. If not I will buy it if the price is right. I want to replace my steam deck with a windows device that can play the gamepass games.

@Cakefish it's an xbox one game so a series upgrade is next gen upgrade no matter how old the series consoles are...

You can see the "friendship" in the comments... Ps funboys coming here to comment about their plastic box superiority instead of enjoying a great game they never had the chance to play...

Considering its specs and how much the other handhelds costs this is at least a 900$/1000€ machine before tariffs. Let's hope MS is giving the OS for free and let's hope it's not going to be over 1000$... The secs give me hope for a series s emulator. If it can play xbox digital games and the price is not crazy high it can easily sell 10mil units. If not it won't sell more than 1 or 2. I am super excited tho and if I can play my xbox digital games I am buying it day one 100%

@DarthAmmii ugly yes but just by looking at photos I can say it's way more comfortable that any other handheld on the market today
