ROG Xbox Ally Pre-Orders Will Reportedly Go Live Next Month Ahead Of 2025 Launch

It's looking like August will be when we find out lots more information on the ROG Xbox Ally, folks. Yesterday, we found out that the Xbox handheld will be available to the public at Gamescom 2025, and a new report suggests pre-orders will open up next month as well.

According to the ever-reliable billbil-kun over at Dealabs, we'll be able to pre-order both versions of the ROG Xbox Ally on August 20th, 2025. That's when Microsoft is set to showcase the devices again during its first Gamescom 2025 broadcast - the exact time of which you can read up on down below:

Furthermore, we now have even more evidence of Asus's pricing model over in Europe. Just like eXtas1s reported on in June and then Asus themselves accidentally leaked earlier this month - it's looking like ROG Xbox Ally will cost €599 and ROG Xbox Ally X will cost €899. Billbil-kun has now corroborated those previous pricing reports with these two figures as well.

Anyway, we should have less than a month to find out more about ROG Xbox Ally - and hopefully some concrete prices in the UK and the US. For now, we know for sure that Xbox will be showcasing the device during its first Gamescom broadcast, we know that hands-on impressions will soon follow, and hopefully we get those pre-order and pricing details confirmed next month as well.

Are you first in line to get pre-ordering one of these? Talk to us about ROG Xbox Ally down below.
