Have 3 studios working on Halo. First one (343?) to keep the story going, second one to remake the old games and 3 to make side stories like Reach and ODST. And we can have a Halo game every 2-3 years. Multiplayer is great but Halo is more about the campaign, the coop and the story imo, you cant treat it like any other live service game...

@themightyant developers are optimizing their games for steam deck and the rest of the handhelds also drivers are releasing for all those handhelds all the time just so they can play every new game better. If the next xbox is a success they still optimize their games and if its powerful it will help too. Sure the ps5 pro may will have better optimization but that wont cover the difference in hardware if its big. Also the handheld will be a 1080p device. Series s is supposed to be a console that targets 1440p, if the handheld is more powerful that series x with all the upscaling options PCs have and aims for 1080p it will be a beast.

1) Make it pc hybrid with easy to use with controller windows. Also let other companies use your os on their handhelds too (rog ally, legion go ect).
2) Let pc stores in so everyone can bring their libraries from pc stores and add gamepass ultimate as a requirement to play games from other stores (so if they dont buy games from xbox store at least they will pay for gamepass, so win-win).
3) Make it/them powerful and cheaper than an equal powerful pc.
4) If there is a handheld it must have same ram and same power cpu as the more powerful console and have the ability to use external GPUs like rog ally. So everyone can buy the handheld and also be able to upgrade it later so it wont loose ground like the series s did and also have the option for better docked gaming. It may be too expensive to have it at a lower price than the more powerful console but they can make money from docks and external GPUs that will be especially for that console (or why not dock with the more powerful gpu included?).

And thats how you change console and pc gaming for ever and you become the king.

Halo deserves COD treatment... I'm not one of those 343 haters, i love all of their games (ok 5 not so much but i still enjoyed it) but games takes too long to make now. You cant have only one Halo game per generation! They should have 3 or 4 studios working on Halo making a game every 2-3 years like they used to do for original XBOX and 360. I think that is the reason Halo is loosing funs not 343.

@Agamembar same here... Hope ff16 comes to xbox coz the pc requirements are ridiculous and its not worth buying it there... If i'm not able to play at least 1440p/60+ fps i may as well play it on xbox at 30fps on my preferred platform to play that kind of games.

The only thing i would buy for 799€ (ps5 pro price in Europe) is an xbox windows hybrid that is at least as powerful as a good 4070 build with the ability to install steam and the other pc stores even if gamepass ultimate is a requirement for that. I ll never pay that much for a console that i have to pay for online and i have to buy from their store. When they demand such things they have to sell their consoles lower than their cost... Clearly sony wants to make a profit from ps5 pro sales coz there is no way making it cost more than 699$/799€...

I'm going for Ubisoft+ after the new Assassin's Creed is released. I will play both in one month and if i really love one of them i'm gona buy it when the price drops a bit. 70+$ for a game is way more than what they worth imo...

Good gamepass game. I wouldn't pay more than 30$ for it tho...

Omg my 500$ box cant play 4K-60fps!!! At the same time you need at least 500$ for only the gpu to play 4K-60fps with a pc...

@DarkCvrle well we can only wait and see. I was talking about starfield not forza... I dont think forza horizon 5 will go either unless they also announce horizon 6 at the same time as an exclusive but i am not an insider or anything to know for sure.

@Bionic-Spencer well until that day comes stop dreaming... Ever since ms got Bethesda its all rumours about starfield being day one on ps, after 6 months on ps, after shattered space on ps and so on... Still not on ps. Maybe in 1-2 years? Maybe on the next gen? Who knows but no-one will care when that happens IF it ever happens because its not happening any time soon...

@DarkCvrle Indiana Jones is Disney's ip and it was supposed to be everywhere before Microsoft got Bethesda. We are lucky its a timed exclusive and day one free with gamepass.

Soooo no Starfield for playstation... Lets see if Forza or Indiana Jones will go there ooor if all the rumours were just rumours.

Rumour after rumour and nothing is confirmed yet... Problem is Microsoft doesn't understand that all these rumours hurt their brand even if they aren't true... Indiana Jones being a timed exclusive makes sense but shouldn't games like Spiderman or at least the upcoming Wolverine be the same? Will they? I dont think so...

@Scummbuddy if they could make it run on switch they would have released it for xbox one before porting it to other platforms and they would also make a ps4 version coz there are still more ps4/xbox one gamers than correct gen...

All i'm hoping for is microsoft making the next xbox a pc hybrid... This is the only rumour i care about and the only way i see xbox being relevant in the future... It doesn't matter if all games goes to ps or some of them, it still damages the brand even with some of them. The should either go with the pc hybrid solution or stop releasing games on other platforms and put an end to all those rumours.

I am happy because that most likely means we re going to see hi-fi rush 2! But i am expecting a much better game gameplay wise... The story was great but the gameplay was mid at best...

I have so many points but i cant use them. The was never an xbox related exchange for my region... Not even xbox gift card.

@InterceptorAlpha it would make sense if it was some high requirements game that they would need to put some effort porting it. Its very easy to port games that have pc version on the xbox consoles they just lost about 80-90mil (coz they could also make an xbox one version just like they are doing a ps4 one) possible customers.

Obviously anyone already owning a series xbox doesn't care. If i wanted to buy an xbox now probably the all digital series x would be something interesting for me because i buy all my games digitally but i want the more powerful console. Still the price difference isn't that big so i would still choose the normal 1tb series x because i really dont like the 2tb design and the price tag

I believe they kept Gears 6 a secret and showed us E-Day that is going to release after Gears 6 just to get hardcore funs excited and they plan on showing Gears 6 in the game awards with a 2025 release date! I really hope this gona happend because if e-day is the next Gears its going to release in 2026 (if it was for 2025 they would say so) and i cant believe we re gona keep playing Gears 5 till 2026, for 7 years after it was released... Thats way to long for Gears!

@BBB i cant wait for some Halo mods. Mostly weapons and chief's armor but some crazy mod about the flood would also be great!

So people are complaining because they have to pay for other people work? And you can still play on pc and get most mods for free, well on consoles you have to pay make your choices...

Ohh come on! I got it some time ago on steam! Now i have to buy it again... I hope it will be on gamepass... Its a really nice game, lots of fun!

@NEStalgia yea my bad... What i had in mind was 1k cost for xbox. Obviously when you pay 1k for pc parts the store you buy from has some profit and i believe Microsoft will get a better price from AMD/Intel/NVIDIA than any other retailer so 1k for Microsoft should be something much better than a 1k pc.

@awp69 a year is almost like day one... Maybe there are many people who would buy a second console to play some great games day one but 90+% of gamers would prefer to have all their games on one platform and on one store or don't want/cant buy a second console and they can wait. Even if they keep all the games exclusives for one year they will loose more than they can get imo

If they keep this up releasing games on playstation and not come out and say "there will be more games on other platforms" or at least "do not expect any AAA game on other platforms" the only way to keep the ecosystem alive is to make the next xbox a something close to a windows pc being able to play all pc games and being way cheaper than building the same power pc yourself. Of course they should let all other stores (steam ect) in and they could add the condition to have gamepass ultimate if you wana play games from other stores than xbox store. So it can give a choice to all gamers to wither build a 1k pc or buy an xbox pc for about 500-600$ and either buy games only from xbox store or subscribe to gamepass.

I still love Halo games. I think the funs are so unfair with 343 just like they are with Coalition in a smaller degree and no matter how good their games are there are people who will always say Bungie-Epic did it better... I think 343 doing a great job with the only "bad game" being halo 5. Halo 4 in my opinion had the best story after 2 with so much character development. They had made Chief something more than the i need a weapon dude who is all about bam-bam and some bad ass lines now and then. Infinite is my favourite for all the new stuff they added and the open world. Yes it feels incomplete and i wanted more content for the campaign but still loved it and i can't wait for the step up with Halo 7!

@RetroMan71 the problem is that half the people who hate it either never played it or never gave it an other chance after the updates... They just go with the flow. Reviews said its bad so its bad. Its popular to hate xbox, ea and ubisoft games these days

The game after the 60fps is really good as it is. The only thing they need to add is offline mode. Its ridiculous that there is no pause and that everyone who owns the game or even the gamepass subscribers wont be able to play if they close the servers.

@DonkeyFantasy absolutely not. Take god of war as an example. So many new things with every new game. The only one you could consider a dlc of the one before is 2 and even that one had so many extra things like longer campaign and way more weapons to upgrade and play with that made the game totally different.

@DonkeyFantasy sp2 wasn't just small it was a dlc. Nothing new from the last 2 games other than flying Spiderman

@MrMagic lol eurogamer the most anti-xbox site gave it a 5/5 reviews these days are a joke. Not all people have the same tastes, for someone who lover story driven 3rd person games that all about the story it may be a 10/10. Personally i hate theses games so i m not even gona play i will just download it to see that next gen thing everyone talking about.

And thats why i dont care about reviews anymore... Only watching some gameplay videos for the games i m not so sure if they are worth playing

@MrBook lots of people have the same opinion as you. I only played the first one on ps3 and for me it was meh. Never got an other playstation console to play the second. I played all ps games that were ported on pc only liked horizon and not enough to make me wana buy a ps5. The only ps exclusives i m interesting in are the Final Fantasy games and well i prefer waiting for pc port rather than getting a second high end console for 2 games.

@MrBook me neither... Yea the 12h was a Spiderman 2 joke it may not be 12h for all games but still... I bet you could do it faster tho 😂

PS: I played the "broken" redfall more than 34h and it wasn't even close to the best games i played on xbox. For me its more important to have more things to do in a game rather than having a good story.

@GuyinPA75 making a console that lets people with low budget to play new games is not a mistake. Its consumer friendly policy.
