Report: SEGA To Announce Persona 4 Remake At Xbox Games Showcase 2025

Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase 2025 is right around the corner now, so it's probably best to start expecting some reports and rumours crop up about the show over the next few days - and we're today seeing fresh reporting about a Persona 4 Remake being announced during the event.

Coming from outlet MP1st, SEGA/Atlus are reportedly planning to reveal Persona 4 Remake during the big Xbox show on Sunday evening. "A source familiar with the situation" has given them the info, and that source has also detailed Xbox Series X|S, PC and PS5 as target platforms.

"A source familiar with the situation has confirmed to MP1st today that Persona 4 Remake will be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8. It’s planned for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, though we failed to get confirmation if there’s also a Switch 2 version releasing simultaneously."

The site goes on to mention that Persona 3 Reload was revealed during the exact same show two years ago, and that while its source hasn't confirmed any gameplay changes and other details for Persona 4 Remake, the game could follow in similar footsteps to that Persona 3 re-do from early 2024.

Of course, this reporting should be taken with a pinch of salt for now, but it's not like we have long to wait for finding out in real-time. The Xbox Games Showcase 2025 takes place this coming weekend - and you can read up on all of the pre-show info you need in our handy guide down below.
