@abe_hikura exactly that! Who is gona buy an xbox if they can play all games on playstation? Xbox already has low consoles sales what will happen if the only selling point will end up being gamepass? Most likely the sales will be so low that there wont be a next gen console or there will be one but no 3rd party publisher will bother putting any game on it.
Its not the funs fault Phil didn't gave us a clear answer. His twit was more like a confirmation. Its like he wants to break up with his gf but asks for some time to find the best way to say it. Rage is the only thing the funs ended up with if they dont want our rage they should at least give us a "dont believe anything you read, we will inform you about xbox future in a week".
If they do it its the end of xbox... Noone will buy a series and there wont be a next xbox for sure. Personally i wont buy a single game for xbox if that happens... What is the point of building a library and not be able to play my games on the next consoles? I ll go full pc gaming and buy everything from steam. I am also sure Microsoft will regret that move. They will loose way more from platform's sales than what they will earn by selling their games on ps. Lets hope they do listed and hear us as Phil Spencer said...
@Banjo- lets hope you re right! Series x is my first xbox (i used to be a pc + Nintendo handheld gamer) but it is my favourite console ever and i dont want to change back to full pc gaming personally... But i still hope all those rumours will end up wrong.
@Banjo- two reasons... 1) almost no one will buy one because they will buy a playstation so they can have all the exclusives 2) consoles are not profitable, only the software is. And they wont sell enough software on the xbox almost no one will buy.
