Re: Need For Speed Unbound Receives Massive Free Update Ahead Of Xbox Game Pass Release

Fully understand that this is a silly reason to not play something, but I was interested in getting this and going for the full achievements score, however I've read there's one achievement in particular (an online play related once unsurprisingly) which is supposed to be a real pain. Relying on multiple people completed more than one multi series race I believe with no one dropping out

Started playing Dark Alliance, finished the first mission. Saw the faults but in truth didn't feel like it was that horrid.

But anyway, it's now deleted, my gaming time is limited as it is and I'm certainly not going to play through something which I find bang average

In truth, I'm really really struggling for something to get stuck into

@everynowandben really interesting how people view MD, I loved HR but couldn't get into the sequel.

I don't think the opening in Dubai is the best (thought the sandstorm closing in is fantastic) but I think more than that, hearing the ending is kinda set up for a sequel which is never going to arrive has made me think 'what's the point'

I'm in a gaming rut. I'll either play something I've played before for some comfort gaming or look for a new single player experience, which admittedly doesn't narrow it down !

Fortunately we're still in the group stages of the Euro's so there's plenty to keep me occupied.

Oh, and its Hell in a Cell Sunday night:)

Not sure about anyone else but after finishing a game I normally have to have a little break before getting into something else.

So anyway, immortals fenyx rising is the one I've gone for, love it, really is comfort gaming at its finest. I guess the writing is a bit Marmite but I love the narration by zeus !

Resident Evil 4 complete finally. Absolute brilliant game, despite the initial shock of the control scheme which took some time to adjust to, I do believe it is an absolute master class in design, pacing and set piece variety.

The story is some nonsense though haha

Had a break for a couple of days before deciding what I'm jumping into next, strangely I've gone with Dante's Inferno. I'm not sure if it will stick but if not , that's ok !

RESIDENT EVIL 4 !

No I've never played it before and yes, what the heck have I been thinking.

It really is a special game, even now, several years after its release, it more than holds up in all areas. There's never a dull moment , inventive set piece after set piece. Just making my way though the castle now and the intensity is really cranking up

A real gaming funk for me at the minute! Started GTA5 again as I don't fancy anything at all at the moment and haven't played since it first came out back in 1989. Its still an incredible gaming world, however wondering if I might be better playing through 4 again as I'm only really after the story.

Aside from that, for some reason, I've a real itch to give Ghost Recon Breakpouht for some reason and I've no idea why!

Finally...FINALLY, finished Cyber Shadow (25 hours and 1000+ deaths later I should add) and what a game. The first of its kind I've really played tbh as hard to believe as that may sound

Now onto Immortals Fenix Rising as I fancied something a little more relaxed. I'm not usually one for open worlders - particularly the ubisoft ones- but this is really charming and definitely caught me by surprise. As someone who really really didn't get the hype behind BOTW I was a little hesitant as the majority of the reviews seemed to be a straight comparison and focused on all the ways they felt it lacked compared to BOTW , however I'm enjoying it more !

Cyber Shadow and only Cyber Shadow. Let me tell you, finishing this game has become an obsession. Its the first 2D action platformer I've ever really gotten into and its definitely been one of my most enjoyable gaming experiences in a long time!

I'm 19 hours in so far into a game I thought I would finish in a couple of hours but in no way was I prepared for the difficulty !

Thank God for Gamepass as without it there's no way i would have given it a chance. I feel like its opened my eyes to a whole different genre of games, my eyes are now on The Messenger & Hollow Knight next for sure

Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb. Highly, highly recommended. It looks great on the X with the upscaling. Just a really fun, smartly paced adventure. Hoping to have that boxed off this weekend

After that it’s either the original Splinter Cell or I finally start my run through of Halo 1 to 5. Just need to work out where I fit ODST and Reach into it

Hi guys ! First post, recently picked up an One X and so impressed with it, had a 360 back in the day and switched to a PS4 but felt the urge to switch back again

Anyway, GamePass is fantastic, but I’m struggling guys I need some advice. I made the mistake of getting download happy and ended up playing 10 minutes of 12 games and not getting anywhere in any ! Any tips for staying focused ?

Currently playing the Euro 2020 add on for PES. Playing as Hungary on SuperStar difficulty, so far haven’t made it past the group stage but that’s the challenge !

Also picked up Destiny: The Taken King to get a feel for how it plays and try pick up some of the backstory. I know I’m several years to late but enjoying that too. Only playing up to a point where I feel I’ve got enough of a handle on it to move onto Destiny 2. Hopefully can jump into it with a few of you guys when the time comes !

What else ... well a few stuff, got Kingdom Come Deliverance installed and may give that a go.

Forza Horizon 4 also came with the bundle I bought, and maaaan. What a disappointment, first couple of hours I loved it, absolutely loved it, looked fantastic, so many events, handled well ... and then ... I realised it doesn’t actually matter where you finish in the races, it’s more about the experience rather than the competitiveness and I dunno, I just lost all enthusiasm for it after that

ANYWAY !! I’ve rambled on a bit but looking forward to chatting with you all
